[edit] Timeline
May I ask why you deleted Timeline? It seemed to me that the discussion was still open and somewhat unresolved. --Stux 02:36, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
- Hey, Stux. You're absolutely right. I was clearing out Category:To be deleted and must have accidentally deleted it. I'll restore it right now. —FireBird|Talk 02:44, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you! --Stux 02:44, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] My page
When someone writes something in the funny links don't get rid of it. There suppose to. TheThingé 19:09, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
- Ah, no problem. Generally, it's common courtesy not to edit someone else's userpage, so I figured this person didn't know. It won't happen again. :) —FireBird|Talk 20:30, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Podstar Runner
Why do you have removed the links to VLC and mplayer? Crappy-bad-postprocessing-not-fullscreen-supporting Quicktime isn't the only application which plays this files! VLCs interface might be not that good looking, but VLC is the best multiplatform mediaplayer I know. Plays nerly everything and ignores contry codes in DVD. You can even play DVD ISOs directly! -- 131.130.120.166 16:12, 13 February 2006 (UTC)
- I know Quicktime isn't the only player out there. In fact, that's why I removed it- we don't need to list every player out there. Sure, VLC may be good, but that doesn't necessarily mean we need to list it. Since Podstar Runner was meant for an Apple product, it is probably best to link to the Apple product meant to play them. —FireBird|Talk 16:17, 13 February 2006 (UTC)
[edit] DVD Screenshot
How do you take a DVD screenshot? I tried ctrl-Print Screen, but ended up watching the DVD in Paint! Please help! Sleepless in Seattle. Bluebry 18:13, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
- Ah yes. That happened to me, too. Here's what I did: download this and play your DVD in it. When you want a screenshot, pause it and go to File → Save Image, and save it to your computer. That's all there is to it. —FireBird|Talk 19:57, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
- Thank you so much! I really was confused. Bluebry 19:59, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
