subject: HEY!I’m a kid too! And a fan of TMBG also! I’m gonna dress up as Strong Bad this year, and I’m gonna try to get it in the Fan Stumes this year! TMBGLOVER 21:39, 13 October 2022 (UTC)
- Good luck. - HoveringSombrero (talk)
- Wait.. what? My mom took a picture of my costume, put it on Twitter, tagged @StrongBadActual, and what else is there to do? TMBGLOVER 15:16, 17 November 2022 (UTC)
- Whoops that kinda sounds ominous. I mean like, y'know, "I hope you get in" or "I wish you luck" or "Nevermind the bullocks." - HoveringSombrero (talk)
- OH. For a moment it was like, “good luck” as in, “You won’t get in” or like that. Bye! TMBGLOVER 22:37, 17 November 2022 (UTC)

subject: Minor editsHey HoveringSombrero. I've noticed you making a lot of good edits to the wiki. Thanks for that! The thing is, all your edits are marked as minor, when almost none of them are. According to Help:Editing, "the rule of thumb is that an edit of a page that is limited to spelling corrections, formatting, and minor rearranging of text should be flagged as a 'minor edit'. A major edit is anything that makes the entry worth looking at for someone watching the article; any content change, even if it only involves a single word, is a major edit." Please don't mark your edits as minor unless they really are. It could be that you have "Mark all edits minor by default" checked in your preferences, in which case you should uncheck that. Keep on tranglin'! — It's dot com 19:08, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
- Ah I see now. I will go ahead and change that. Thanks. Peace out dawg foo gangsta yo. - HoveringSombrero (talk)

subject: Show PreviewHello HoveringSombrero, I want to point out the Show Preview button. It's right next to the Save Page button when you edit. You should use it whenever you are making a lot of experimental edits, for example when you are trying to get formatting right. There was an edit you made that accidentally broke the tweets page and previewing how the page looks prior to saving would've helped catch this issue prior to saving.
Also, When editing a page, please remember to always fill in the summary field, as even a short summary is better than no summary. Indicate in the edit summary field why you changed the page; this will greatly help other contributors in understanding your reasoning.
In any case, I wanted to also thank you for contributing to this wiki! Your work and edits have helped keep this wiki in tip-top shape! So I did not want that going unsaid. Thanks, --Stux 19:49, 24 December 2022 (UTC)
- Yes I am aware of said button. But it was Decemberweeve and I was kinda in a rush. Also, about the summary thing, sometimes there is not a lot to say about the edit. Anyway. Happy Decemberween! - HoveringSombrero (talk)

subject: Your signatureHey HoveringSombrero, I just noticed that after you uploaded your new picture, you replaced several instances of the picture in your signature across the wiki with the new picture. So you know, you can compile this information onto your signature page so that you don't have to do that. Pay attention to the guidelines here and here so you know what to do after you finish that page. Also, with apologies to how you have formatted this page, this didn't display correctly in the box, so I had to take it out:
HoveringSombrero (talk)
It looks like it's a little bit too long as it stands (and it actually looked worse in the box than this). If you want to find a narrower font to use, like the one in my signature for example, that should fix the problem. The Knights Who Say Ni 17:35, 23 January 2023 (UTC)
- Ok gotcha! I have found a new font (ok I did borrow yours, but that's because it looked cool) Thanks for the help! (P.S. I was actually able to fix my cool little Lappy display, so win-win!) - HoveringSombrero (talk)
- Well, now that It's dot com made your sections editable, you can see that it looked worse in the box. Now, if you type ~~~~ instead of typing out your name, it will post your signature along with a timestamp. (~~~ will do just a signature, and ~~~~~ will do just a timestamp.) I saw that you edited a misspelling of your name a couple days ago, so I figured this would help. The Knights Who Say Ni 06:42, 8 February 2023 (UTC)

subject: Sig TemplateHi HoveringSombrero, I noticed that you went ahead and created a signature template. However, it was created in the [[Template:]] namespace and not the [[User:]] namespace. The page should be moved (without redirect) to User:HoveringSombrero/sig. As far as I know that works (see Help:Signature for reference). Hope this helps figure out your sig stuff. --Stux 17:36, 23 January 2023 (UTC)
- HoveringSombrero - I started the previous section before you created the page, and I moved it to the correct namespace before noticing that Stux had written this. He's right about the (without redirect), though; that will need to be deleted by someone higher up than the three of us. The Knights Who Say Ni 17:42, 23 January 2023 (UTC)
- Cool cool cool. Thanks for all the help! You guys deserve a nice warm glass of suudsu, because that stuff is G-E-W-D gewd. - HoveringSombrero (talk)
- Glad to be of help, even if it's in a small way. And thanks for the discount bubble tea! --Stux 00:34, 24 January 2023 (UTC)

subject: Huh?Whenever I sign my signature, it switches from the standard wiki font to the font of my signature. For example. Normal wiki font, and then HoveringSombrero (talk) then all of a sudden, BAM! Different font. What's up with that?
- You had a <span> tag that wasn't properly closed. I fixed it for you. — It's dot com 01:45, 24 January 2023 (UTC)
- Oh I see. Thanks. - HoveringSombrero (talk)

subject: Cover albumHey hovering sombrero (pun very much intended)! , I just wanted to say I have a Bandcamp account now and that I made a TMBG cover album! https://hudsonmakesstuff.bandcamp.com/album/paid-to-fake-it-in-a-covering-band-a-tmbg-cover-album I’d really appreciate it if you listened to it! TMBGLOVER 17:41, 27 January 2023 (UTC)
- But in all seriousness, it sounds pretty interesting, I will definitely give it a listen as soon as I can. Crapfully yours, HoveringSombrero (talk)

subject: Forum account[...] how the crap do I create an account on the HRWiki Forum? There's just a Log In button…and no Create Account button. Confusedly yours, HoveringSombrero (talk)
- I created a forum account for you with the same name and email address as your wiki account. Check your email. It should have the instructions you need to log in there. — It's dot com 00:35, 29 January 2023 (UTC)
- I checked my email, my email, what what, my email, and it's not there. Huh? - HoveringSombrero (talk)
- We haven't gotten a bounceback message yet, and probably won't for several days. In the meantime, you can check your junk email settings to make sure hrwiki.org isn't blacklisted, or to explicitly whitelist us. You should also check your junk folder to make sure there's nothing there. If all else fails you should email admin@hrwiki.org with a different email address. — It's dot com 03:01, 29 January 2023 (UTC)

subject: Help me with this?Go to my user talk, because I don’t wanna copy and paste. Please? TMBGLOVER 18:13, 20 February 2023 (UTC)
- I don't think this wiki is quite a place for personal stuff and whatnot. Sorry. - HoveringSombrero (talk)
- My idea was just that I’d find someone who had a Reddit account (I dunno if you do), and pass her on a little idea, which was that she’d join the wiki, I’d create a separate page connected to my account, and then talk with her there. There’s a plan B involving a shared Bandcamp album, but I’d figure that plan A is my best shot. I’m ok if you don’t wanna be that guy, so.. I guess I’ll cry instead, as John Lennon would say. TMBGLOVER
- Alas, I do not have a Reddit account. 'm s'rry. Also, your friend should probably at least be a Homestar Runner fan, if you want her to join the Homestarmy—er, the wiki. - HoveringSombrero (talk)
- Ok, so bandcamp idea it is. I’ll still need somebody to be the messenger. I’m not saying YOU, I’m just saying that maybe you could find somebody who could. If not, I’ll just go with the I’m sad that I’m flying idea. In the words of John Linnell, “Sad, sad, sad, sad, why must I be sad.” TMBGLOVER 20:58, 20 February 2023 (UTC)
- There, I created a Reddit account you can use. The username is “ConnectGuarenteedVid” or something like that and the password is “blah blah”. There. Now could you please help me with this? I just wanna talk to my friend again. TMBGLOVER 21:32, 20 February 2023 (UTC)
- Sorry, I can't help you. As I have said before, the Hrwiki is a wiki for dumb animal characters created by the Brothers Chaps, not a place for personal issues. I don't wanna come off as a jerk or anything, but this is just not the place for it. Try somewhere else, please, and leemee alone. - HoveringSombrero (talk)

subject: The main page talk pageHi HoveringSombrero. I've noticed you using the main page talk page as a catchall for every little thing. That's not what it's for. Or maybe a better way to put it is to say that if there's a specific talk page relevant to whatever you're talking about, then you need to find it. If you have no idea, HRWiki:The Stick is a good place to start looking. For a topic such as this one about userboxes, you need to post on HRWiki talk:Userboxes. When you do, use a real descriptive topic header that can be found months or years down the line. For example, don't call that topic "A proposal". Everything's a proposal. Call it "Shorter templates" or something similar. Start it with a capital letter. In short, you need to look around the various project pages (in the HRWiki and HRWiki talk namespaces) and study how others have done it before you. Talk atcha later. — It's dot com 01:01, 18 March 2023 (UTC)
- Alright. I will do that in the future! Keep on tranglin'! — HoveringSombrero (talk)
- You're still not, though. Your question about YouTube links belonged on Talk:YouTube. Also it's not your job to police the main page talk. If there's something there that doesn't belong, someone higher up will take care of it. — It's dot com 19:48, 24 March 2023 (UTC)
