Specific to Homestar Runner?

My impression is that this is a pretty common phrase, and not really specific to Homestar Runner. Should it have its own page? Trey56 22:26, 18 May 2008 (UTC)

I think the large number of appearances shows it's a favorite comeback of TBC in their work and thus deserves to be documented. OptimisticFool 22:39, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
A large amount of appearances can also mean that it's a very common expression. I don't think there's anything very unique about saying "more like" at all, since it doesn't have the same running gag factor as Crap or Best/Worst X bucks I ever spent.-Brightstar Shiner 22:50, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
I think this is another I'ma. It's a really common expression and not really that specific to H*R. — It's dot com 01:34, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
I agree with OptimisticFool. I think this is more of a mashing type article... sure it's common in certain dialects, but i know that i for one rarely hear the "more like" construct outside of the H*R universe, and that to me it seems to be used more often than normal by strong bad and others. keep — Defender1031*Talk 01:49, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
I agree with Dotcom. It's not really a Homestar specific phrase.-DAGRON 18:37, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
DeF: I hear the "more like" construct frequently outside the H*R BoW. When I get a chance I'll find some examples, unless someone helps me out and does it first. — It's dot com 22:14, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
I think you missed my point. Yes, it is used outside of the context, but like mashing, it is a dialect thing, one which is more common in southern US apparently... that's all. — Defender1031*Talk 22:18, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

I compare this to Seriously and Best/Worst X Ever. Common, but TBC use it a lot, lot, lot... and it is therefore worth documenting. Keep. OptimisticFool 23:57, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

2000th Article

is this the 2000th article? TheThin 22:06, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

The concept of the 2000th article is enigmatic. Different articles will settle into that role, as old ones are deleted, merged, become redirects, etc., and eventually the dust may settle and people will be so focused on the 3000th article no one will care about the 2000th. Translation: Don't obsess over this. The way articles exist, there will never be one 2000th article. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 23:30, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
