Note: I delete old disscussion on my userpage if it's trivial and doesn't matter anymore. If my talk page gets too long but I want to save some of it, I'll make an archive. Hasn't happened yet, though. -{{User:Brightstar Shiner/sig}} 21:14, 9 February 2007 (UTC)

Brightstar, I find it odd that you've been doing so much work around here, yet have recieved little to no credit. I'm here to change that. You continue to work hard toward goals, both yours and those of the wiki as a whole. Even if you are the only one doing any real work (which is all too often), your continued effort in spite of working alone is respectable by any measure. So here's a token of all the respect you deserve! I hereby award you: THE PIZZA TROPHY!!

:::Aww rats, and I thought I had the third one at least! Towards the end of the movie Marty asks Doc about the blank piece of paper and Doc tells him that his future's not written and that no one's is.  That's why I thought it would be that.  I've thought for hours about the first one and .... nothing.  The only other movie that I could've thought of for #3 was Minority Report, but I seriously doubt it's that either.  So I guess I'll have to wait for the answers or peek (I'm curious are any of these sci-fis anime?) --[[User:Stux|Stux]] 02:45, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

::::Wrong again, sorry. I'll give you one cupcake for the similarity in BTF, though. Also, none are sci-fi anime, but that would be awesome. I outta do a quote series with just anime movie quotes. Hello, Hayao Miyazaki films! But seriously, these are hard, so I'll give all y'alls some hints: 1. Cult film with a really long title. 2. Worst movie ever made. 3. :::::Lol. Yay! Thanks for the cupcake!  Ok no no sci-fi anime (of which my knowledge is limited) so that narrows things. The hints help! Sort of.  So, 1. I just have to think of cult movies with really long names (such as MST3K:TM)  2. Worst movie ever made? Most of the B movies shown on scifi on Saturday afternoons are the worst movie ever made! 3. Now THAT's too easy. But it makes sense now! Great movie!  I still haven't seen its sequel with Claire Danes on it.  A friend of mine has it and I wanna borrow it.  Your knowledge of movies is ''quite'' impressive!  --[[User:Stux|Stux]] 04:33, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

Okay, let me sort this all out. You guys all put messages in my talk page when I was either having guests over or sleeping yesterday, so sorry I couldn't really jump in earlier. Here goes: '''Nobody''' gets number one, which was honestly really hard and I can tell you guys the answer if you want me to. '''Loafing''' gets number two, which was Plan 9 from Outer Space and the speaker was Criswell. It was actually a really long speach, but I condensed it down to the last line. '''Loafing, Yellowdart, and Stux''' get number three, which was Terminator 2: Judgment Day and the speaker was Sarah Connor. They all got really close and all get hot, fresh cupcakes (partially because Stux has been wanting some badly and Loafing didn't know about the Google thing, so he gets new replacement cupcakes). Combolations to all. Oh, and Stux, my knowledge of movies ''is'' quite impressive, but I haven't seen all of the films I find quotes from. The internet helps me on that end. -[[User:Brightstar Shiner|<span style="color: #800080;">''Brightstar Shiner''</span>]] 13:14, 6 January 2007 (UTC)

Woow! The memories. --[[User:Stux|Stux]] 04:38, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

-
::Ha ha!! It was on ''that page'', but you ''still'' didn’t get it! I can see now that you’re desperate, so okay, here's the answer. The first quote is from The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension and the speaker is Lord John Whorfin. Nobody gets cupcakes, but new quotes will be coming soon, so see all y'alls later! -{{User:Brightstar Shiner/sig}} 22:00, 9 January 2007 (UTC)

:::LOL, I'm [[Wikipedia:Category:Cult_science_fiction_films|blind]]! I must confess I skimmed through the list looking for long enough titles.  The title is so long it's even solely responsible for the first column being so wide! Even THEN I didn't notice. I actually have NOT seen this movie, contrary to my "hunch".  I'm sure however, that I've seen tons of shows I'm sure are referencing [[Wikipedia:The_Adventures_of_Buckaroo_Banzai_Across_the_8th_Dimension|it]], even perhaps [[Wikipedia:Xiaolin Showdown|Xiaolin Showdown]].  Add another movie to the list of must-watch movies. Now I ask you, have '''YOU''' seen [[Wikipedia:The Last Starfighter|The Last Starfighter]]???  They had it on Sci-fi the other day, and it was awesome to watch again, despite its tackyness and ever-so-awesome CGI.  If you have I'll be '''very''' impressed. Until Next time! --[[User:Stux|Stux]] 16:50, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

::::No, I haven't. I haven't seen Buckaroo Banzai, either. Or about half of the movies I do quotes for. Where on the internet do I find the quotes, you ask? Well, that's a secret. Honestly, maybe I ''should'' see The Last Starfighter, just to make Stux here happy. Oh, and just so you know, my favorite movies are Star Wars (all six), Finding Nemo, A Christmas Story, and Rain Man. -{{User:Brightstar Shiner/sig}} 20:50, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
+
-
:::::Did I ever mention that I was shocked that you had never seen eps 1-3? ;) But you "redeemed" yourself by watching them. :)  I was also surprised that you'd never seen Buckaroo Banzai given that you had quoted it, and more so that you gleaned your quotes off the internet!  Tsk, tsk, tsk! And here I thought you were quoting these from the top of your head! :)  Also, I've looked at the new ones... and noooooo idea either.  Guess I'm still batting 0.100. --[[User:Stux|Stux]] 22:27, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

::::::I'm only a humble 13-year-old, Stux. I can't see ''all'' of these movies. :-) At that moment, I didn't own the prequel series on DVD, but I had gotten the original trilogy for Christmas and watched them. My dad promptly ordered the ones I didn't have from Amazon, I watched them, and here we are today. One problem though: They haven't actually said it, but I believe my friends think I'm even more of a geek now for liking Star Wars... -{{User:Brightstar Shiner/sig}} 22:53, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

Lest you be shred to pieces by a barbarian. Anywho, so your friends may think you're more of a geek for liking Star Wars?  Nothing wrong with that, ...except maybe with them ;).  The only way to rectify this situation is by turning THEM into Star Wars geeks! ::::::::<laughs <s>maniacally</s> hysterically>That could ''never'' happen in a million years. They're too "cool" for Star Wars. On a slightly unrelated note, my favorite characters in just about any movie/book/tv show/etc. are the villians. For Star Wars, that means my favorite character is Darth Vader/Anakin. That scene in Episode III where he kills Windu and Palpatine turns him to the dark side was ''so creepy''. I had to pause the movie and breathe for awhile, but I was really enjoying it. Very memorable scene. -{{User:Brightstar Shiner/sig}} 18:45, 28 January 2007 (UTC)

Hey. a long time ago, you answered a math problem of the week correctly, but i blew you off. Sorry. But anyway, i made a user box for answering correctly, and you have won it. Here it is:
-
It looks like you've put <code><nowiki><span style="color: #800080;">[[User:Brightstar Shiner|Brightstar Shiner]]</span></nowiki></code> in the "nickname" box in your [[Special:Preferences|preferences]], but didn't turn on the "Raw signatures (without automatic link)" checkbox - you have to turn that option on to get fancy sigs to work. Incidentally, the &lt;span&gt; will have to go inside the link to work correctly: <code><nowiki>[[User:Brightstar Shiner|<span style="color: #800080;">Brightstar Shiner</span>]]</nowiki></code>. If you want more info, look at [[Help:Signature]] and [[HRWiki:Signature]]. {{User:Phlip/sig}} 21:10, 7 October 2006 (UTC)

:Thanks. Couple questions though. Can I still put 4 tildes for the sig or do I have to write all that out every time? And how do the sig subpages help? -[[User:Brightstar Shiner|Brightstar Shiner]] 21:15, 7 October 2006 (UTC)

::Yeah, you can still use the four tildes if you put it in that box in the preferences and turn "raw sigs" on. The sig subpages help by letting you make more complex sigs without cluttering up the talk page source with your signature's code... which isn't a problem with something as simple as changing the colour, but for more complex sigs it's good to get it out of the way. {{User:Phlip/sig}} 21:17, 7 October 2006 (UTC)
+
|}
-
::3 ~'s is just a siggy, 4 a siggy plus timestamp (what you want on Talk Pages) and 5 just a datestamp. The tildes will include whatever sig you're set for. As for subpages, what exectly are you wondering? {{User:Qermaq/sig}} 21:19, 7 October 2006 (UTC)

-
:::I knew the tilde part already (you must get <i>really</i> tired of saying that over and over), but the subpages are just...some people have subpages for their signatures and I don't know why. ::I wouldn't worry about it ''too'' much; there's a discussion [[HRWiki talk:Signature#Length is uncontrollable|here]] of how different characters are rendered differently according to screen resolution and browser preferences.  On one computer I used, your sig is hardly outside of the box, but on the current one, it extends further.  I don't think your sig is that problematic &mdash; the guideline is there for the sigs that heavily violate it. {{User:Trey56/sig}} 16:11, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

Hi, guys! Right now all of you are probably reaching way back into the far reaches of your minds, trying to retrieve that wisp of a memory that a certain user by the name of Brightstar Shiner ever existed on our fair wiki. Other users who joined the brigade in that black void of a time that I wasn't here most likely disregarded my first post in goodness knows how long as a minor blip on the Recent Changes radar, not even granting it a second thought. My pities to the latter and humble condolences to the former, who surely have been staring at a blank wall crying the entire time I was gone.
 +
But no more!

I am now 14 years old and a freshman in high school. Those awful glasses are gone and in about a month the braces will be too (yays!). I've been working diligently on my screenplay and have some of it done even! As soon as I remember how to format and code all this stuff again, I'll let you all see it. This message is LONG overdue but as you can see I haven't been very active as of late.  Several weeks ago I was wondering what you might be up to; so it's a pleasant surprise seeing you around and I'm glad to hear that you are doing well with your life!  You're an excellent editor and it's good to see excellent editors devote their time to this wiki.  So I definitely wanted to say: Welcome back Brightstar! --[[User:Stux|Stux]] 04:23, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

Hey there. I'm really glad you're going through the articles to proofread them. A bunch of them sorely need it. You are consistently making one change, however, that I need to bring to your attention: I've seen you {{p|l=http://www.hrwiki.org/index.php?title=Strong_Bad_is_in_Jail_Cartoon&diff=prev&oldid=560658 change}} the ''and'' in a sentence to ''then'', so that it might read, "The first thing happened, then the second thing happened." ''Then'' is an adverb, not a conjunction, and so you need {{p|l=http://www.hrwiki.org/index.php?title=Strong_Bad_is_in_Jail_Cartoon&diff=prev&oldid=560764 both words}} if you're making a compound sentence: "The first thing happened, ''and then'' the second thing happened." Again, good work, and keep on tranglin! &mdash; [[User:It's dot com|It's dot com]] 14:41, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

It's all good and I'm on Thanksgiving Break now, so I'm feeling great! <does the Brightstar victory dance (I do have one)> I understand that, on the internet, it is relatively hard to express emotions such as sarcasm or "just kidding". *Hi Brightstar Shiner! I don't want to seem some know-it-all jerk, but I just wanted to let you know you spelt "grammar" wrong on your user page, (I didn't want to edit it myself, because maybe you did it on purpose, and I didn't see the humor behind the irony...Wouldn't be my first time...). :Oh, hi! Thanks for the compliments, I hadn't gotten any before! ^_^' I never noticed that I spelt "grammar" wrong and you caught my mistake, so thanks for that. Have you ever considered the benefits of [[HRWiki:IRC channel|IRC]]? IRC, or Internet Relay Chat, is a free internet service what lets you talk to other wiki users in real time. It can run on a separate client or even in your browser, via the Java version. It's like a talk page, but with irrelevant chatter and a large number of actual people.
-
Hi Brightstar, I'm not a regular like I used to so there are a lot of new faces around. Anyway I noticed that a part of your User page seems like it didn't quite come out the way you wanted it to. So I wanted to help. Short of editing your user page, I have copied the text in the next subsection and made the appropriate changes.  Just hit the edit button on its subsection and copy the source over to your section!  If you have any more questions lemme know. --[[User:Stux|Stux]] 03:06, 20 December 2006 (UTC)

I invite you to join us because you: A) are a strong, worthwhile contributor, 2) seem like a fun person to talk to, and D) are also a girl, something we are sorely lacking in. =3 If you choose not to brave our special offer, it will not expire. You may redeem it any time. We also have a number of individual offers for a more personal instant messenger service that I wouldn't say no to talking with you over instead.

:I'm sorry. I go back and forth and that project; sometimes there, sometimes not, sometimes being satisfied with two users, sometimes not. I'll admit that it's very discouraging to me that nobody has expressed any interest in helping us, even though I've asked many times (and maybe that's the problem) and the job is simpler now. I have other things I need/want to be doing (like studying for my exams and taking part in other projects on the wiki) and Article cleanup feels like a shackle to me. I started it, I talk about it all the time, so, in my mind, I have to do it. But being stuck with that long list after I've already spent so much time on it is heartbreaking.  Article cleanup will get done, but it's a community project and should be done by the community. -{{User:Brightstar Shiner/sig}} 23:28, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

:Yeah, I ''do'' have a question. The old one and the new one look exactly the same. Are you saying that when you look at my userpage, the lines don't look right? Because that's happened to me before, and it's...not happening now. I guess I'll go ahead and put those <nowiki><br/></nowiki> commands in, just in case it ends up like that again if I change something on my userpage. Thanks for the concern, but nothing's really wrong. See ya! -{{User:Brightstar Shiner/sig}} 21:59, 20 December 2006 (UTC)
+
Hey brightstar. As you know, every article in article cleanup is first and second checked. When it is a new week, there will be another article to check. so i think that every week, so we do not get edit wars, you should first-check the article, and i will second-check it. Tell me if you want to switch it around. {{User:Slipknot6477/sig}} 14:30, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
-
::Hi again! To answer your question, in short, Yes. Without the <nowiki><br/></nowiki> tags all the lines were running together. I am surprised you never saw them run together like that, which I'm guessing the cause of which is a browser issue.  I use Firefox as my main browser, and sometimes IE will not show things the same way.  Of course I just checked using IE and saw the same problem in the older version.  Perhaps you're using a different skin or other rendering tools?  MediaWiki by default runs them together like it shows up in my browser.  Anyway, Merry Christmas! --[[User:Stux|Stux]] 07:22, 27 December 2006 (UTC)

:Thanks so much for helping, Slipknot. I'm really glad that project finally got completed. Since every week brings a new featured article, I was thinking we'd find out what it's going to be beforehand and check it before it goes on the Main Page. I won't be here this week, but I'm around until Sunday afternoon, so if the FAS people have already made their decision, we can proofread it this weekend. And sure, I'll first-check whenever I'm around. Thanks again, -{{User:Brightstar Shiner/sig}} 19:13, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

Hey Brightstar &mdash; I read the discussion [[HRWiki talk:Sysops#I Know You've Probably Heard This A Lot...|here]], and I just wanted to agree with what Loafing and Lapper said about you being a great contributor to the wiki.  I've noticed your edits on several occasions and thought they were good contributions both to article content and to project pages (the latest ones I noticed and appreciated were in [[HRWiki:Da Basement#Deletion Policy|this discussion]]).  I just wanted to encourage you about this because I've found a lot of enjoyment from just doing my best to improve the wiki, and I think that participating in those ways is the most satisfying thing about being here. I would venture to say that sysops would agree with this &mdash; that they enjoy polishing the page for the latest Strong Bad Email more than they enjoy reverting edits, blocking vandalism, etc. Also, there's only so much of that administrative work to be done, so while there are a lot of good, qualified users on the wiki, they only need a handful to perform the maintenance of the site.

==Homestar Runner Wiki Dream==
+

You won't believe this. I had a dream last night where I was at a mall-sort-of place that was supposed to represent what the HRWiki would look like if it was an actual place. All the users lived there (I think I mentioned IRF, Joey Day, and Qermaq) and there were resturaunts and apartments and things like that. I saw [[Little Girl]], who I called Astrid (because that's her real name), and she was about my age. We played and stuff, but she couldn't get over the fact that I was a huge fan of her uncles (TBC) and treated me kinda strangely. Then I don't remember, and then some demented murderer came and chased us around and my parents came in and then we went into this sushi place where we beat him off and he died. When I woke up, I realized that I had just had a dream about a website! Not just any website, a website documenting another website! It was '''wierd'''! -{{User:Brightstar Shiner/sig}} 23:07, 8 February 2007 (UTC)

Well, at least you're back to the nice -10 with windchill weather in Ohio (that's what it's been here in Michigan).  I too will suffer a similar kind of pain when I must tread back to Puerto Rico over spring break to visit my family. --[[User:Stux|Stux]] 02:19, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

:::Even though I can tell you're being sarcastic, it really was a great vacation. The bad things were pretty minor and I'm actually sorta happy to see the snow again (key word: ''sorta''). Lucky for me it's only 19 degrees (=_=) with a wind chill of I-have-no-idea and 10 - 15 inches of snow. Great, huh? -{{User:Brightstar Shiner/sig}} 14:26, 19 February 2007 (UTC)

Archive 1

This page was getting a tad long, so I decided to make an archive. Now it shouldn't be such a hassle to navigate anymore. -Brightstar Shiner 00:47, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

Hmmm. I don't think it was that long. Really. Also make sure that people have time to read and reply to active threads too! Of course this is your talk page so you can do whatever the heck they you want! Have a good break! --Stux 03:45, 20 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Da Pizza Trophy!!

"Have a Pizza Trophy!"

Congratulations, and keep up the great work! — SamSF%20sig.jpgFisher (Come in, Lambert.) 17:34, 31 March 2007

Aww...thanks, Sam! I got a Pizza Trophy now! I'd like to thank my director, and my producer, and my mom, and.... <gets played off the stage> -Brightstar Shiner 11:56, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
Keep up your hard work Brightstar, you're an excellent contributor. --Stux 00:53, 2 April 2007 (UTC)
Thanks, Stux. I had a not-so-fun day at school today, and when I looked at you guys's compliments, I felt a lot better. Thank you! -Brightstar Shiner 19:46, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Which quotes...

About the quotes you wanted us to guess which movie and character, one is Marty in Back to the Future II, and one is Doc in Back to the Future III. Don't know the other two. --Jnelson09 03:16, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

I called that thing off. Doesn't it say on the userpage? <goes and checks> Yeah, it does. Sorry J, maybe some other time. -Brightstar Shiner 22:12, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Strong Bad Allegiance Meeting

Alright. As you know on my page, we will discuss future plans. I want you to meet me in the sandbox. We will discuss our meeting in the sandbox. User talk:Sam the Man Sam the Man 21:18, April 5th 2007 (UTC)

Okay. I'll be right there. -Brightstar Shiner 13:27, 6 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] math problem

Hey. a long time ago, you answered a math problem of the week correctly, but i blew you off. Sorry. But anyway, i made a user box for answering correctly, and you have won it. Here it is:

2+2=4

Have fun with it! -Zerlock1124

Thanks, Ziplock (that's going to be your new nickname, okay?). Don't worry about forgetting me. I'll just put this userbox on my page and thank my math teacher! -Brightstar Shiner 19:52, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Leaving

Hey Brightstar! Sorry to hear this :( You'll be missed; feel free to come back any time! Trey56 00:26, 6 May 2007 (UTC)

Yes, ditto. And... writing a screenplay? Stop getting so cool all the time. =3 You're making it too hard for the rest of us to compete. --DorianGray 00:28, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, I know, I'm sorry I can't be around very much. I'm not leaving since I'll probably be back in the summer, but I can't be around for long periods of time anymore. Sorry, guys. -Brightstar Shiner 00:30, 6 May 2007 (UTC) By the way, this screenplay is called Star Savior of Marenia and it's gonna rule!
Yeah, there's no reason why you couldn't come back once you've finished writing, no? Loafing 00:32, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
Just don't be a stranger. Come back every now and again (like I have) at the very least. You're a good editor (and that includes your english skills) so yeah, don't be a stranger, stranger ;). --Stux 00:47, 6 May 2007 (UTC)
Okay. School's out in three weeks and two days, which makes 17 school days (not like I'm counting or anything), and after that I have a busy-in-spurts summer, so I'll be around. Just not exactly constantly. Also, thanks for the note, Stux. It's nice to be complimented every once in awhile. :) -Brightstar Shiner 22:10, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
You're welcome, and yes it is nice, I should know ;). Just whenever you can drop by, well... drop by! --Stux 19:51, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Back

But no more! I am now 14 years old and a freshman in high school. Those awful glasses are gone and in about a month the braces will be too (yays!). I've been working diligently on my screenplay and have some of it done even! As soon as I remember how to format and code all this stuff again, I'll let you all see it. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help out, okay? Has the Featured Article cleanup been gathering dust? I wonder... -Brightstar Shiner 00:28, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

Yay. Twas just the other day I was thinking "Boy, I haven't seen Brightstar Shiner in a while. Which is sad, coz she was a neat person, a good editor, and also a girl." Weclome back. You were probably missed. --DorianGray 03:45, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
Your pity is appreciated, Brightstar Shiner. I think..? OptimisticFool 07:10, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
I was being silly. Don't let your brain explode over it, okay? ^_~ -Brightstar Shiner 13:42, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
Whoa! Look who's back! --Stux 04:23, 4 May 2008 (UTC)
Awww... thanks, Stux! I was wondering what happened to you, too. And I'm glad so many people think I'm an excellent editor, but it's only going to make my already-huge ego go through the roof! -Brightstar Shiner 11:02, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] And then

Hey there. I'm really glad you're going through the articles to proofread them. A bunch of them sorely need it. You are consistently making one change, however, that I need to bring to your attention: I've seen you change the and in a sentence to then, so that it might read, "The first thing happened, then the second thing happened." Then is an adverb, not a conjunction, and so you need both words if you're making a compound sentence: "The first thing happened, and then the second thing happened." Again, good work, and keep on tranglin! — It's dot com 14:41, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the tip. I may be awesome at what I do, but I'm not perfect. ^_^ -Brightstar Shiner 16:50, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] By Invitation Only

Dear Brightsar Shiner (or current occupant),

Have you ever considered the benefits of IRC? IRC, or Internet Relay Chat, is a free internet service what lets you talk to other wiki users in real time. It can run on a separate client or even in your browser, via the Java version. It's like a talk page, but with irrelevant chatter and a large number of actual people.

Please send your reply in a self-addressed, stamped envelope to:
--DorianGray

W- Wait. Are you sending me this invitation because you genuinely like me, or because you think I chat too much on the knowledge base (which I don't think I do)? -Brightstar Shiner 22:13, 10 May 2008 (UTC)
I assure you it's the first one. =) --DorianGray 22:14, 10 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Drawing There...

Did you do that drawing of the manga-fied version of you-ish? Just wondering. ColdReactive

Yes, I did. -Brightstar Shiner 19:29, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
I must congradumalate you somehow for having good drawing skills. *strokes chin* I'll think of something. ColdReactive
Well, I have been drawing in the manga style for over two years. I'm even writing a screenplay about some of my characters that I draw. That particular drawing and another color one of all the people in the screenplay have been entered in my school's art show, which happens this Friday. Whether or not I get a ribbon for them has yet to be seen. -Brightstar Shiner 19:38, 13 May 2008 (UTC)
I do terrible at drawing, that said, I do good at eyes in anime style. o_O; Believe me or not. I hope you get a ribbon. ColdReactive

By the way, I went to the art show a few hours ago and guess what? I got ribbons for both of my drawings! In the Art 1 "People" category, the picture on my user page got 1st place, and the color drawing (which is not on the wiki) got 2nd place! Yays! -Brightstar Shiner 02:06, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

That is great indeed, I'm happy for you. :P ColdReactive

[edit] Just a Hello and a Thanks.

Hello ! Just wanted to say thanks for the help on my userpage. I actually thank you on there as well. Oh and good luck with your screenplay! I'm happy to help in any way possible. =] Check you later and until then, Remember... Sometimes, Wizards Are So Awesome... It hurts. xx --lustmyeyes <3 04:14, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

No probalo! I'm always here to help. But remember to use Show Preview so you don't edit the same page several times in a row. And if you wanted that to look like a letter, with the breaks, just use the command <br> after each line. Like this:
But ninjas are so much cooler than wizards. Any day. ^_~ -Brightstar Shiner 11:19, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] 43,252,003,274,489,856,000

Regarding the Rubik's cube, you report that there are 43,252,003,274,489,856,000 wrong arrangements for a Rubik's Cube. I must inform you that there are actually 43,252,003,274,489,856,000 total arrangements. In other words, there are 43,252,003,274,489,855,999 wrong arrangements and 1 right one. OptimisticFool 02:26, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

Makes the scene in UHF that much funnier. — It's dot com 04:35, 17 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Patience

You have passion, and I commend that, but it takes time to develop passion in others. Be patient. In time, good ideas are always favored. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 22:54, 25 May 2008 (UTC)

I'm sorry. -Brightstar Shiner 23:28, 25 May 2008 (UTC)
Yes, it should be done by the community. It should also be done with patience. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 09:57, 26 May 2008 (UTC)
Okay. -Brightstar Shiner 10:53, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

Note: Since I'd like to keep my sanity for as long as possible, I'll be staying away from Article cleanup for now. I want to concentrate on other wiki stuff (and, if anyone needs help with anything, you know who to ask) instead of worrying constantly about that project. That doesn't mean I'm abandoning it, but the work that still has to be done needs to be done by others. Cool? Cool. -Brightstar Shiner 23:59, 26 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Awexome

Hi, I was Awexome for awhile. I forgot my password, so I changed my username. Just FYI. I'll try to think about how to do major updates rather than many little ones from now on. StarFox 01:33, 31 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Removing Redirects

So, you think you could keep up the updating pages to have the articles' current names? I think I'm all done for the day. Homestar-Winner (talk) 02:40, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

Well, I should be going to bed relatively soon, but I can keep it up for another 20 minutes or so. Just tell me what all still needs to be done. -Brightstar Shiner 02:42, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
Probably changing all pages that say Strong Bad's Basement to say Basement of the Brothers Strong. I'll do a few more myself also. Homestar-Winner (talk) 02:49, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
Before you go to bed, I just wanted to say thanks for helping. I'ma go to bed now too. Homestar-Winner (talk) 03:00, 8 June 2008 (UTC)
You're welcome. ^_^ -Brightstar Shiner 03:03, 8 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] done with article cleanup

Hey brightstar. As you know, every article in article cleanup is first and second checked. When it is a new week, there will be another article to check. so i think that every week, so we do not get edit wars, you should first-check the article, and i will second-check it. Tell me if you want to switch it around. Slipknot6477 14:30, 13 June 2008 (UTC)

Thanks so much for helping, Slipknot. Thanks again, -Brightstar Shiner 19:13, 13 June 2008 (UTC)
