The only reason it could be a sketchbook thing is because of the white-paper background, but it doesn't look really like something TBC would draw. It'd probably be a fan thing, I think. {{User:Salty/sig}} 22:14, 14 January 2006 (UTC)

I assume similar fanstuff-slideshow works like More Fan Costumes will be used as precedent here. Let's make sure nobody starts uploading a zillion screenshots. It'll take quite a bit of time to describe all the images, but that's what we're lookin' at. —AbdiViklas 06:13, 13 January 2006 (UTC)

Here, I got them listed up to when it goes really fast:

  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A skewed drawing of trogdor {says "TROGDOR! THE BURNINATOR!" on the bottom left corner of the page}
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png Some kind of goop in the shape of trogdor on a plate {edited in text next to it that says "TROGDOR the BURNINATOR"; this is actually an S-shaped pancake with syrup making up the wings and small pancake pieces as the arm and legs and flame}
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A cookie shaped like trogdor
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A drawing of Trogdor (possibly MS painted) {says "TROGDOR!" renewed!!" His beefy arm is also a whole lot bigger.}
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A plushie Trogdor
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A "text picture" of Trogdor {correct term is ASCII Art. Underneath is "TRODGOR" also in ASCII art, followed by "Teh 1337 burn1na7x0r"}
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A chalk drawing of Trogdor with a little girl lying beside it. {little girl is also screaming}
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png Three costumes
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A drawing of Trogdor {says "TRODGOR!!!" in the top left corner, plus there is a sign that says "A Burnination free-zone!" which is on fire. There is also a guy screaming in the bottom right corner.}
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A cake with Icing shaped like Trogdor {says "Happy Birthday PAT!"}
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A cake shaped like Trogdor
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A drawing done in the sand of Trogdor {with a guy's head edited in near Trogdor's head, or he could be buried and the sand with bad picture quality}
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png Two One drawings of Trogdor {a really well done drawing, at that.}
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png An Etch-a-Sketch type drawing of Trogdor {I think it's one of those magnetic drawing things. "Burninator" wraps around it (so the "TOR" is in the lower left, though the rest of the word is on the right), and a peasant is on fire.}
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A Maine Liscense plate reading "Trogdor"
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A Delaware Liscese plate reading the same thing.
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A picture of a country side with Trogdor edited in {It's actually a giant Trogdor shaped hot-air balloon. Jay: Still looks edited to me though. Elcool (talk)(contribs):It's edited. I know this image was photoshopped in one of the Fark.com page.}
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png What appears to be a fish stick shaped like Trogdor {could be a chicken strip}
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A cookie shaped like Trogdor {Not a cookie. Can't tell what it is.} {looks to me like one o' those fried shrimp you'd see in a Chinese Buffet. SaltyTalk! 22:11, 14 January 2006 (UTC)}
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png Two Digital rendered pictures of Trogdor {3D images. Second one has no wings.}
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A Zippo with a picture of Trogdor and the words "The Burninator" engraved in it {A better way of saying this is "An almost-exact replica of the drawing of Trogdor that Strong Bad drew engraved in it, along with "TROGDOR THE BURNiNATOR"}
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A costume {A shirt that has Trodgor drawn on it. The man seems to be dressed as some kind of Rennaisance-era knight.}
  • A costume with some guy getting burninated {Same as last one, just zoomed in.}
  • A "block" letter drawing of Trogdors name with the "T" beathing fire {The word "BURNINATED!!" is in the T's fire. Also, the "D" is saying "I'm Sad we're all burning..." and the sun is saying "RUN!" It's credited to "Ryan Ingham".}
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A tattoo of Trogdor
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A light bright thing of Trogdor {with glowsticks for flames}
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A drawing of Trogdor done in the snow
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A drawing of Trogdor done in the sand
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A Virginia liscense plate reading "Trogdor" {It reads "BRNIN8R"}
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png 2 Crayon drawings of Trogdor {Trogdor is blue in the first one}
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A pencil Drawing of Trogdor
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A scene of Trogdor burninating peasents and cotteges carved into pumpkins
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A digital rendered picture of Trogdor {could be better said by "A 3D rendering of Trogdor burninating cottages"}
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A sand drawn picture of Trogdor {the flames are actually on fire.}
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A guy in a peasent costume holding a plushie Trogdor {from More Fan Costumes}
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A drawing of Trogdor {says "The Trogdor factor}
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png (I'll get this one in a second) {A guy in a Trogdor costume holding cardboard-cutout flames out of his mouth. There is another guy in front of the flames screaming.}
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A picture of Trogdor chasing some of the main characters and Strong Bad and the Cheat riding on him {Trogdor is chasing The Poopsmith, Strong Sad, Pom Pom, Marzipan, Coach Z, Bubs, The King of Town and Homestar. Strong Mad is standing behind Trogdor.}
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A hockey Jersey reading "Trogdor"
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A sculpture of Trogdor done in Legos
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png * A drawing of Trogdor {repeated later}
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A grafitti drawing of Trogdor
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png "Trogdor house" {It's apparently at some Texas university (notice the sign on the right)}
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png 2 sewn plushies of Trogdor
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A sculpture of Trogdor {really evil looking; it's holding a Big Knife}
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A picture of Trogdor done in "post-its" {note: this is the MIT "hack" documented at School Sightings#Trogdor: MIT Hacker. Should be linked in a Fun Fact.}

{Goes really fast}

Each of these are on screen for maybe a frame or two:

  • Image:Wiki_tick.png Foil in the shape of Trogdor.
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A drawn construction sign that says "Danger! Burninating in progress!" and with Trogdor in the middle.
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png Drawings of "Baby Trogdor" {These could be Sketchbook Drawings, actually, given their style... there appears to be a Kerrek on there too, and an archer that just ARROWED! one of the Trogdors.}
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png Trogdor drawn in snow {A burninated peasant too}
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png Trogdor painted on the side of a ceramic bowl
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png Another license plate that reads "TROGDOR" (From New Mexico — Gus 17:37, 13 January 2006 (UTC))
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png 3D Rendering of Trogdor
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png Trogdor stiched onto some fabric
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png Trogdor drawn in chalk {Strongly resembles a winged crocodile, actually}
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A clay trogdor (looks like a Christmas tree decoration)
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png Trogdor-shaped cookie
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A Californian license plate that reads "BURNN8"
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png A colour pencil drawing of Trogdor {This is a repeat - it was seen earlier in the same 'toon, marked with a yellow star}
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png An iPod screen that has Trogdor on it and text that reads "Do not disconnect."
  • Image:Wiki_tick.png Trogdor painted onto a balloon (or it could be a piñata; Elcool (talk)(contribs): It's drawn on an egg, you can see the shell taxture.)
  • (Several of the previous pictures are repeated:)
  • Foil
  • iPod
  • Babies
  • "BURNN8" plate
  • Ceramic bowl
  • Ornament
  • 3D rendering seen in the rapid section above
  • Stitched onto a small piece of fabric
  • Crocodile-like chalk drawing
  • New Mexico plate
  • Cookie
  • Second snow drawing
  • A third instance of the yellow-star drawing
  • "Burninating in progress"
  • Drawn on a balloon
  • At the end, there's a brick wall with "TROGDOR STRIKES AGAIN" graffitied on it.

Can someone maybe check that?Darthvader66 06:50, 13 January 2006 (UTC)

Holy cow, Vader; you must have the eyes of an eagle and the typing skills of... a bat. (Because it's midnight.) That'll be incredibly helpful. —AbdiViklas 06:55, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
Probably viewed the flash file, and moved the scroll bar slowly, bit by bit. That's what I'd have done. Thunderbird 08:00, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
Right, right. But still. The speed of documentation is what was impressive (and the strength of will, which was much greater than mine at the moment). —AbdiViklas 08:17, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
Ow, my edit conflict! Anyways, I confirmed the list. I used a seek bar. -- Super Sam 08:31, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
We should get another list with just the re-used images. I know I at least recognized a few of those images. Then clean it up a bit and create a special section in the Fun Facts. Thunderbird 08:38, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
We should probably make a Happy Trogday Song Visuals page for them when you're done. - Joshua 13:57, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
Actually, this page will kind of be that when we're done. Compare More Fan Costumes: I know it's not a song, but if it were, that would be the "visuals" page. Further complications are that this song isn't new; it's just the Trogdor song. But yeah, by the time we're done describing all the shots it'll be a pretty dang good "visuals" page! —AbdiViklas 17:10, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
I think the page the way it is now is fine for someone who wants to read the lyrics. Adding the visuals however would make it too distracting, and they'd have to go a different page to just read the song. That's why secondary pages for visuals are useful for things like this with so many different images. - Joshua 17:24, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
I disagree, actually; I can't really imagine anyone watching this cartoon and saying, "Man, what were the words to that song?" I can, however, imagine them saying, "Wait, I—what the—what were all those images again?" —AbdiViklas 17:49, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
I added the MIT hack fun fact. --VolatileChemical 19:04, 13 January 2006 (UTC)

Double Edit Conflict: Just remember what we discussed in Talk:More Fan Costumes#Pictures. — User:ACupOfCoffee@ 19:12, 13 January 2006 (UTC)

SWF Extractor extracts 66 images, not inclusing the pencil-sketch Stinkoman/Trogador frame, but I only count 59 check marks in the list above. Something missing? Gus 21:45, 13 January 2006 (UTC)

I suspect some are multiple pictures in one shot One checked line reads "Three costumes", for example. --DorianGray
Just a heads up, that "Etch A Sketch" drawing is actually done on a Magna Doodle. I didn't know if I should change the text up there or just leave a note, and this seemed less intrusive.

Running Gag Alert!

Before anyone else mentions it, "HAPPY TROGDAY TROGGiE" is yet another case of lowercase I's. Yay me. Stating the obvious! Eh, I felt like throwing my two cents worth in. =P -YK 08:03, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
I added it to the page. I hope nobody minds... I'm still new here and somewhat shy about making edits. -YK 08:22, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
Looks great. Don't be too shy about making edits. If you get the formatting or wording slightly wrong, somebody'll come by and correct it. At least the idea's there. Usually it's a race for the new transcript or Fun Fact, you should feel privilaged to have been able to add something that obvious before anybody else beat you to it. :) Thunderbird 08:36, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
Yay! My first (real) edit! Indeed, a rare "privalege". =P -YK 08:45, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
Indeed indeed. Nobody expects the Thursday night update. I just came on to check my watchlist, not to get sidetracked with Fun Facts. Thunderbird 08:49, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
Sorry YK, but it's not. SB's handwriting is the source of the gag, not the gag itself. Check the page for details. Don't worry, you're not the first person to make that mistake, and I'm sure you'll find another thing to make an edit on. small_logo.pngUsername-talk 15:44, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
Ack! You're right. I was so excited about finding something, that I overlooked the even *more* obvious. Darn. Oh well. =P -YK 00:52, 14 January 2006 (UTC)

guys, is this under construction?

i noticed that we have not done the slideshow and put it on there. there are a lot of pictures, should we undergo the massive effort? Seriously 11:30, 13 January 2006 (UTC)

See above. —FireBird|Talk 13:12, 13 January 2006 (UTC)

Friday the 13th

Just wanted to note that on one of the worst dates people are most scared of, came one of the best shorts in a while. The day is bad, but in the good way! Elcool (talk)(contribs) 15:51, 13 January 2006 (UTC)

Bad luck, my clavicus majorus! My day was just fine, with no more bad things happening to me than usual, and it's just got even better! Now I have the urge to air guitar! – The Chort 18:49, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
Random trivia: In Spain, it's Tuesday the 13th that's unlucky. — It's dot com 19:11, 13 January 2006 (UTC)

Yeah, Friday the 13th is always a day of good luck for me - hurray for the Darth Katana! Darth Katana X (discussionitem_icon.gif user.gif mail_icon.gif)

AYB?

Doesn't this sorta remind you of All Your Base? Maybe we should put something up. 216.55.219.202 18:18, 13 January 2006 (UTC)

Just what I was thinking! However, I don't think we should add this idea to the article. The only link they have is that they're both montages of various sightings. It'd probably get STUFFED. – The Chort 18:46, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
And AYB was probably created mainly by the video's designers Photoshopping pictures. These are pictures of real-life things taken by fans. --Jay (Talk) 19:46, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
UPDATE: This is now in STUFF. Later, you can see what the result was by scrolling down. --DorianGray

Trogday

First Cheatday, now Trogday? This "replacing the birth in birthday with a syllable from the person's name" might be the dawn of a running gag. --VolatileChemical 19:08, 13 January 2006 (UTC)

definitely. add a nice stub at the bottom, and this article is set. Seriously 01:08, 14 January 2006 (UTC)

By the way, I've actually been in the habit of doing that with my friends even before H*R. (E.g. "Mattday".) —AbdiViklas 01:15, 14 January 2006 (UTC)

New Trogdor mp3?

I think this trogdor song sounds way more awesome than the original. Do you think there's a possibility that TBC will release a "3rd anniversary trogdor mp3?"

Agentjs03 20:28, 13 January 2006 (UTC)

If ya really want it, it's on the CD. But it's still possible, yes. --DorianGray
I thought so. I heard the difference and remembered that CD. SaltyTalk! 22:44, 13 January 2006 (UTC)
And Agent, you should seriously get the CD. It's awesome, and right now it's just $10! I'd put it off until recently, but was glad I finally got it. —AbdiViklas 01:16, 14 January 2006 (UTC)
Are you serious??? It sounds like that on the cd? I'll get it, ya. I thought the cd version would still sound like the downloadable mp3. I thought the metal sounded WAY heavier on this one. Thanks for the tip. BTW, is there a place I can preview the different songs on the cd?

Agentjs03 05:07, 14 January 2006 (UTC)

Here is a sample of "Because It's Midnite" by Limozeen. And Here is a sample of "The Cheat Is Not Dead". Hope this helps!--Martin925 05:34, 14 January 2006 (UTC)

Possible Sketchbook?

possiblesketchbook0qa.png Could be a sketch.... but I'm not sure. I'm just throwing this out there. Any thoughts? It sort of looks like a TBC drawing, but then again it could just be a fan. DBK! 06:39, 14 January 2006 (UTC)

I noted the very same thing above. --Jay (Talk) 06:42, 14 January 2006 (UTC)

The only reason it could be a sketchbook thing is because of the white-paper background, but it doesn't look really like something TBC would draw. It'd probably be a fan thing, I think. SaltyTalk! 22:14, 14 January 2006 (UTC)

I thought someone said those were fan art from "BHZ"... whatever that is. Darthvader66 21:08, 15 January 2006 (UTC)

Wow!

It's like TBC just made Happy Trogday the way it is for the sole purpose of making it hard for us wiki people to transcribe. --Ian911299

Do you think they're going to limit themselves just for the Wiki? I don't think so! Still, I see that the "section in progress" message is still up - you guys need any help? Darth Katana X (discussionitem_icon.gif user.gif mail_icon.gif)
