From January 13, 2018 (Trogday) until December 31, 2020 (when the updated site was launched), there was an HTML footer below the Flash window on the index page. This text was updated frequently, usually to announce new projects and discuss the future of homestarrunner.com. It mentioned such things as the homestarrunnerdotcom YouTube channel, the HTML version of TROGDOR!, the Brothers Chaps' panel at PAX East, Trogdor!! The Board Game and its rulebook EP, the Store, Stinkoman 20X6 Level 10, and Fangamer products. At the bottom, it allowed readers to sign up for the Deleteheads Download mailing list, with an image of all twelve main characters below. When the index page was updated to HTML at the end of 2020, it was replaced with the index page messages.
