- Email trading cards — One of the Coach Z-themed trading cards' stats that Strong Bad notices is that 1984 was the year in which Coach Z had butt-patted a record 23 butts.
- Teen Girl Squad Issue 12 — According to her shrine, 1984 was the year that Mindy first started being Chief Cheerleader.
- Email bike thief (DVD commentary) — Mike recalls a young Paul Reubens when "he was probably doing Pee Wee— '84?"
- Kick-A-Ball (Easter egg) — The Umpire claims that this was the year in which Mookie Blaylock gave the kickball to his aunt.
- Store — The description for the World's Best Crooked Cop mug says that it's "just like the one The Chief gave to Dangeresque after he solved the Alfonso Headspin Case of '84."
