[edit] Fryer and Fryer

On the last page of the pop-up book, the "Fat Fryer" may be a reference to the "Fat Friar", a ghost in Harry Potter.

  • An actual term for such a device is a "Deep Fat Fryer".
  • Clearly not "a reference."

  • I wrote this fact, and it was never on the page. I just wanted to see if others think it is a reference.

The cherubs speak in Strong Bad's Teen Girl Squad voice.

Arguments against:

  • Every time Strong Bad raises his voice isn't a TGS cameo.
  • Even if it is, this should be noted in the transcript, not as a Fun Fact.
    • Never mind. This one isn't worth being on the page at all. This is almost patently false.
  • Previous facts like this have been declined.
  • It doesn't even sound like his TGS voice.


Additional comments:

  • I'll admit that I added this fact, in the mad craze that inevitably follows the 30 minutes following the release of a new email. I was just ading stuff as quickly as possible, and I didn't think twice about it. Now that I listened to the email again, I know that they sound nothing like TGS. This should have been outright deleted instead of STUFF'd.
  • Sounds more like Doreauxgard to me. They don't sound exactly like him, but he's who I thought of when I first heard them, as opposed to Teen Girl Squad
  • Doesnt even sound close. the wingaling babies have much more cheek in the voice.
  • strong bad has pretty much the same voice any time he puts on a fake voice.
  • The first voices I thought of here were Lil' Strong Bad and Tompkins.
