The first line of Strong Bad's intro song for this email bears a strong resemblance to the chorus of "Billie Jean", by Michael Jackson. The second line is sung to the tune of the riff of "Snail Shell" by They Might Be Giants.

Additional comments:

  • The tune of "here comes an email" does match the line "I want to thank you" at the start of the chorus, but it's a rather generic riff.
  • Snail Shell!?! That sounds nothing like it.
