[edit] This was... something

So how'd people find this? I don't see it linked on any main pages (though I do see the "email soon" button) or the Toons menu? --Jay (Talk) 05:32, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

It's linked from the "email soon" button. --DorianGray 05:33, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
Go figure. Ooookay, wouldn't have guessed that. --Jay (Talk) 05:33, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
I wouldn't have either, but checked anyway, figuring it to be the only option. --DorianGray 05:34, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
I think 'twas cool. Finally an Easter toon. Retromaniac 20:25, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Broken Strong Bad pieces

Missing something?

The two pieces of the broken Strong Bad egg pieces don't really match up. This image isn't the greatest, but you can see there's kind of a piece missing. Thoughts? -- Tom 06:07, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

I see the second-left edge on the bottom piece is inconsistent with the top. --TheYellowDart(t/c) 06:10, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
Right. Where did the middle piece go? -- Tom 06:15, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
This seems to be a matter of perspective. The egg shell on the right in the "toon" did not appear 3-dimensional, although we see shadows. I think it's a great attempt, but really only is 2-D, thus the assumption of a missing piece. The thick red border does obscure most of the eyes, which appear to be smaller than usual on this ovum of a Strong Bad. —THE PAPER PREEEOW 09:54, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Uh-oh

The redirect for "eggs" is the toon, alas the redirect for "Eggs" is for the running gag (or....whatever). Oh the humanity! What shall we do? --TheYellowDart(t/c) 06:08, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

How about this? --DorianGray 06:11, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
Exactly. Theyellowdart, eggs is for the filename redirect, it'll need to stay there for the Greasemonkey script to work properly. Eggs isn't a redirect at all, it's an article about eggs with proper direction to the other articles at the top, just like Dorian added for this article. -- Tom 06:13, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
Oh, I see now. But, what if someone is looking for the inside joke and they typed in "eggs" on the search bar. Wait, then they could read the top of the page (the thing Dorian did) and go to the toon. But still, is there a way of fixing the redirect of "eggs" so it won't take you to the wrong thing? --TheYellowDart(t/c) 06:18, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
Theyellowdart, eggs is for the filename redirect, it'll need to stay there for the Greasemonkey script to work properly. -- Tom 06:20, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
Oh, "eggs" is in the URL extension, therefore automatically creating the redirect. Okay. Okay. --TheYellowDart(t/c) 06:21, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
Note that this issue has been further resolved with HRWiki:Autopipe/Autoredirect and hard coding the special case into the script. -- Tom 03:04, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Category

This isn't categorized (or included) in the Toons menu, so this needs to be classed as "uncategorized". However, i don't have time this morning to figure out how to fully adjust the template, so assistance is appreciated. Qermaq - (T/C) Image:Qermaqsigpic.png 08:58, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

Don't think uncategorised toons have their own nav or category. They're just there. But I think it should count as holiday anyway. It so obviously is. --DorianGray 09:03, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
I say we keep it as holiday until sbemail 169 comes out, and if we can't find it then, we officially move it to uncategorized. Dr. Clash 13:56, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
I made it a secret page until it shows up on the toons menu, if it ever does. —BazookaJoe 23:02, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Easter egg

Does anyone think this toon will only be an easter egg on the main page and not put in the toons section? That might be why the toon is about "easter eggs". Homestar-Winner (talk) 11:45, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

That's exactly what I thought was going to happen to Missing Lappy when it wasn't added there after a week, and it did become a secret page! Bad Bad Guy 04:01, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Finished...

I wish this toon was finished. Do you?

Talk pages on the Wiki are usually for discussing the article, not the toon itself. For discussions like this, I suggest going to the forum thread for this toon. Thanks. Has Matt? (talk) 14:35, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Move

I suggest we move this one to Eggs and the current Eggs article to Eggs (Inside Joke). Toons should have nicer article names than original research pages, in my opinion. Have we ever had this problem before? And if so, how did we decide? Loafing 20:47, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

I say we hold off on anything until we get an official name for the toon from the Toons Menu. We might be able to avoid the whole confusion thing outright. -- Tom 21:05, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
Crap! I was JUST about to say that!!! But I still am not sure that TBC will piut the toon in the toon's menu (see above.) Homestar-Winner (talk) 21:15, 9 April 2007 (UTC)
THe only other toon with an "ugly name" I can think of is Mr. Shmallow (toon), due to the character having the same name. There was somewhat of a debate about which should be called out (toon or character) at the time, too. Marshmallow's Last Stand also once had this problem, but was changed with the place having the callout instead around the same time as the Shmallow debate. --DorianGray 21:49, 10 April 2007 (UTC)
There's also Cheat Commandos (toon). This is almost becoming "our transcripts are never spoiler-free...except Pumpkin Carve-nival" again. Bad Bad Guy 03:47, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Homestar Head On

Does anyone think we should point out that this is another rare time where we see Homestar head on? --TheDenzel 23:26, 11 April 2007 (UTC)

It already says that Homestar's eyes face the camera. Bad Bad Guy 17:05, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Not a Goof

I think they actually meant Glutemate. Glute basically means butt, and it was a toon that didnt turn out right. just an idea...

Compare Glutemates (box of 6). 02:46, 26 April 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Strong Bad is an Egghead Man

In Strong Bad is in Jail Cartoon, The King of Town comments that Strong Bad has "a head like a big ol' round ol' red ol' nasty ol' egg."

[edit] Debatable, See?

"See?" might be a shorter version of "Unfinished, See?" which appears at the end of the unfinished "Those Darn Cousins" from Why Come Only One Girl?

[edit] Egg Bad

The Eggs/SBIIJC connection is a stretch. We don't even know when Eggs was made. 00:16, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

It says in the toon "It was made 6 years ago on Easter..." That means it was made in 2001. User talk:Sam the Man Sam the Man 00:19, 14 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Inside or Fast-Forward?

Seeing as how this was made in 2001 but released in 2007, and SBiiJC was 2004, where does this go? --Jnelson09 02:44, 16 May 2007 (UTC)

I recomend Fast Forward, like the clavicus majorus thing from Tis True, Pom Pom, Tis True. Bad Bad Guy 20:01, 23 May 2007 (UTC)
