"Mash" as opposed to "press" as in "mash go" is typical in the South. Since the brothers Chaps are from Atlanta, I think it makes sense that they say "mash." Just thought it was worth mentioning. The same applies to "nana" instead of "grandma."

I live about an hour away from TBC, and while "Mash go" is not a staple of the Georgian vocabulary, it is by no means considered unusual for someone to use the phrase. --JamesGecko 21:46, 24 July 2006 (UTC)

I think the page title should be changed... maybe to something like just "mash." After all, in TGS Issue 13, it appears as just "m.a.s.h." instead of "mash go" or "mash [whatever]" like in the other instances. ~That Guy Over There () 15:18, 18 June 2007 (UTC)

I agree, and it seems to me that if we have this page, we should also have a section on this page that includes the times when they actually say "push" or other words that mean the same thing. I remember seeing one the other day, but now I don't remember where it is. I mean, I'm glad we have this page b/c it allows you to see where the occurrences of "mash" are, it just seems like including the occurrences of "push" would only make it better, and it's the best place to put them. While the phrase being used on the site might not be a running gag, I don't think of it as a recurring theme, and therefore believe it doesn't belong under that category.Neox ONION BUBS! 02:47, 18 October 2008 (UTC)
