[edit] Racquet Games: Delete?
- This discussion was originally on Talk:Racquet Games before it was decided to merge that article with this one.
*This is pretty summed up in Sports. Delort? I say "delort". TheYellowDart—(t/c)Delete; it seems redundant.--H-ko 21:57, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
- Nah, it's got more than 3 appearances, and if badminton gets an article, why shouldn't this?-LordQuackingstick 03:12, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
- Well it's pretty much covered in both Badminton and this. Hey, you made some other great pages, really, but this one is covered in the Sports article. C'mon. You have to admit it. TheYellowDart—(t/c)
- All right, I'll let ya delort it IF you help stop the Ages of Characters page from being deleted.-LordQuackingstick 03:18, 10 January 2007 (UTC) (Sounds rea-zonable, right?)
- Yeah, I helped. That's a cool page, man. Why delete that one? Well, I don't have the authority to delete pages so I'll ask a sysop to tag it, and let people vote on it to keep it or not. TheYellowDart—(t/c)
- We don't do "deals" around here, LordQuackingStick; it's entirely the decision of the community what stays and what goes. — Lapper (talk) 03:33, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
- No need to ask a sysop. If you believe a page should be deleted, simply add the {{tobedeleted}} template at the top (and the {{talktobedeleted}} to the top of the talk page). Debate will ensue. (If you know the page must be deleted, use the {{deleted|reason for deletion}} template instead, that fast-tracks it.) I'll do the former here, as this could be discussed a tad more. - Qermaq - (T/C) 03:35, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
- I know that, but there was an emergency over at my house. I'm back, and I forgot to put the template. Um, I was telling Lord that I can't flat out delort a page. TheYellowDart—(t/c)
- Merge and Redirect. Most if not all of the info is already on Sports. The various sections there could be grouped into subcategories (all of the racquet games could be put near each other). — It's dot com 01:30, 10 March 2007 (UTC)
- Merge and Redirect. I commented before on this, but it should become a part of Badminton and made simply linked with Sports. Essentially, Badminton is a Racquet game, right? I second It's dot com in this. --Collin Diver 17:20, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
- Merge, for above reasons. Trey56 17:34, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
- Merge and Redirect. Racquetball is definitely a running gag, but I'm pretty sure it's a sport. — SamFisher (Come in, Lambert.) 14:50, 11 March 2007
- What They Said. It's pretty redundant and is summed up in two other pages. -Brightstar Shiner 19:46, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Basketball or football?
In the paper, Homestar, Homsar, Strong Bad, and The Paper are seen playing basketball with a football, i'm not sure which one to put it under or if we should put it under both or not put it at all?--Kanjiro talk 18:30, 22 July 2007 (UTC)
- I would move basketball. The code is determined by the rules moreso than the ball. Flashfight 07:17, 26 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] (Mini-)Golf
Does Golf include Mini-Golf? If so, why doesn't someone add a link to mini-golf? Since no one has added it by now, maybe everyone else knows something that I don't.. OptimisticFool 21:21, 19 October 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Cleanup
This article is not formatted in the standard way, with the name of the toon first and then a description afterwards. This needs to be fixed for consistency. (Unfortunately, I don't time to work on it now....) wbwolf (t | ed) 17:06, 21 November 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Kickball
Could someone change the caption for the Kickball image to something more... professional? I would, but I can't think of anything to change it to. RickTommy 00:18, 4 January 2010 (UTC)
[edit] Invented sports
Should we have a separate article for invented sports? PowerPie
