I'm tagging this with {{tobediscussed}}
because anything that would require so many edits to implement needs to be discussed first. — It's dot com 00:30, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Whether to use
There is an example of this template in place at Girl Squad Issue 12. Aside from cosmetic things (like the yellow, which would need to be changed, and the watch link would need to be back at the top), I'm wondering whether this template adds anything to what we already have (compare with Issue 13). — It's dot com 01:01, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
- In my opinion, it doesn't add or subtract anything that we already have. Although, I dislike the idea of a template like this because 1) it clutters up the information into a tiny box instead of having it spread out and 2) it doesn't add or take away from the current setup, so implementing it on 200+ pages would take forever. - I don't remember exactly where, but there was a discussion on infoboxes somewhere, and as you can probably see, it either got nowhere, or the idea was declined. If I recall correctly, it also included what we generally put in the opening, i.e. cast, places, etc. Now, this infobox doesn't add those, it just move things around and doesn't look as good. I'm for not putting it in toon articles, and if it's not used at all, delete it. — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 09:40, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
- Um, I don't see how this adds anything benefitial to articles. It doesn't look better (worse, rather), and I don't see how it makes editing more efficient. Loafing

- I hate to just repeat what everybody else is saying, but I think this new infobox is an eyesore. If it's not adding anything to the articles, why keep it? It's got to go. --DENNIS 22:54, 20 April 2008 (UTC)

I wanted to mention that we already have {{Infobox Band}} and {{Infobox Company}} which serve their job well where they are. However, I do not see general infoboxes fitting in well with the rest of our site's format. --Stux 23:08, 20 April 2008 (UTC)
