Remarks

Inside References

  • Strong Bad's message "Every time that I look at myself, I can't believe how awesome I am!!!" is a quote from Strong Bad Sings.

Real-World References

  • The Homestarmy poster is an obvious play on the poster featuring Uncle Sam with the words "I want you for U.S. Army".
    • The Homestarmy poster and those flanking it are all based on war propaganda posters disseminated by the U.S. government during World War II.
  • The Municipality poster is a throw-back to George Orwell's classic dystopian novel Nineteen Eighty-Four.

Fast Forward
