Fox as Marty McFly, a young man whose friend Dr. Emmett Brown constructs a time machine that takes Marty to his parents' adolescent years. The highest grossing movie of the year, Back to the Future spawned two sequels and a cartoon. The Homestar Runner characters seem to be entertained by Back to the Future since they incorporate elements of the movie into their cartoons.

- Limozeen Live! - 27 Mar 2008 — Strong Bad's introduction to Everybody to the Limit is exactly the same as Marty's introduction to his performance of Johnny B. Goode.
- Teen Girl Squad Issue 15 — Another reference to the dance is made, as the dance the girls attend is Priggity Pizzom: Thugchantment at the Cloughb.
