[edit] Looks a little wide

This page looks a little wide. Should we trash the "Listen" section, since, for now, it serves no use? And should we make this like all the other tables (like in Scroll Button Songs)? →FireBird

It should be wide, but I think the Listen section should be trashed if no one's going to work with it. The email's name at the beginning is important, though. --Joshua 08:36, 11 Apr 2005 (MDT)

[edit] DVD Special

I think it's safe, at least for the first 100, to go by the DVD special they made with the first 100, and put whatever they put down. Anybody want to to go through it and double check, or should I do that? ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 05:10, 13 Apr 2005 (MDT)

What do you mean? Aren't the emails (including their intros) the same on the site and the DVD? These aren't the songs Strong Bad sings on the email list, you know. --Joshua 05:45, 13 Apr 2005 (MDT)
Sorry, what I meant way back then, was that some of them (notably mile as best I can remember, were entered differently here than from the DVD. The DVD left it just at the Powered by the Cheat intro, but here it used to be the whole thing starting with the "I'm not doing one this week" thing. Sorry for the late late reply, I forgot all about this message. Thunderbird 01:52, 17 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Email Intros without the word "Email"

I compiled a list. These emails don't have the word "email" in the email intro:

Thought somebody might want to make that standardised. -- Super Sam 12:13, 11 October 2005 (UTC)

This could go well on Strong Bad Email Statistics. Elcool (talk)(contribs) 12:18, 11 October 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Are You Asking For Two Email Intros?!?!?!?!?

In email 87 (mile), does anyone except for me count Strong Bad singing "...And I pretend that it's made of money..." an intro? The intro listed doesn't come in until around 20 seconds in! The Coachsmith 20:25, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

If we counted that, we'd also have to count the scene in retirement when Strong Bad watches the sweepstakes commercial, slinks over to Bubs', and comes upon his computers. 17:27, 24 February 2007 (CTC)

[edit] Are You Asking For A Slight Change?!?!?!?!?

In email 90 (colonization), the second syllable of each "email" should be bold, as this is how it is sung by Strong Bad. Just thought I should ask before going ahead and changing it. Guess what, it's still The Coachsmith 20:29, 30 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] Do you wa'nt standardized intros?!?!?!?

Is there any standard we apply to what exactly is the intro? Above some threads address specific emails, but generally, what is the "intro", anyway? It would seem it is not necessarily all the words spoken before reading the salutation of the email. So... how do we know exactly what to leave in and leave out? I think it should stop right before the "Dear Strong Bad" or the email sender's question if there is no salutation. --TheYellowDart(t/c) 23:58, 24 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] more armies intro

I always thought the intro to email 172 was "Bring to be a suitable email that I may checketh down." I know I heard a "th" sound. Any thoughts on this statement? — 209.183.32.44 (Talk | contribs) 3:12, 28 May 2007 (UTC) (left unsigned)

Nope it says "Check it down." User talk:Sam the Man Sam the Man 13:27, 28 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Needed info?

Do we need the "This page lists them." bit? It seems like it could be dispensed of; the list would speak for itself. -132.183.138.34 00:44, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Nightlife intro sounds like Tupac/Chappelle

When I heard the intro to sbemail 185, nightlife, I couldn't help but be reminded of the Tupac spoof that Dave Chappelle did on his show. Listen for yourself and tell me if I'm crazy. http://www.comedycentral.com/videos/index.jhtml?videoId=71416&title=tupac-is-still-alive

[edit] Le Pending Discussion

I *grumble, grumble* have not played SBCGFAP, but I shall check youtube playthroughs to see if he types in the email songs. There's always the chance that those were written by one 90s-punctuating editor. --Image:Homsariconformysig.gifBroncoTroll 21:11, 4 April 2013 (UTC)

I am making a centralized discussion over at User talk:The Cheatbot#1, 2, 4— e-mail me more!. Please reply there if you have insight on this question. — It's dot com 21:13, 4 April 2013 (UTC)
