I love that. No, as soon as I saw that, I was all, wow...where have I seen that before... :)
I'm Using Vista, nice prank, though. theo1998 -- Simpedia

Almost... I just decided to click it to see where it brought me. Also... how do I view the page without the huge thing in the middle of it? I can't close it... CompGrl323 (talk · edits) 04:30, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
D'OH! For a second I thought you did give me a virus! Speaking of, I watched that toon earlier. I fell for it, and I use Vista! Strongkinghomsarsmith 18:57, 25 October 2008 (UTC)

I use XP. and besides, I wouldn't have fallen for it anyways.(P.S. you gotta teach me how to do that!)
Didn't fall for it, just was curious. Clever, though. --Hot homestar 06:30, 21 December 2008 (UTC)♫Hot homestar♫ 11:13, 18 December 2008 (UTC)
For a second, I thought it was one of those pranks where you like click "OK" then another one pops up, then you click "OK" and another one pops up, and it's like a great big nuisance, until you finally smash your computer. Good prank! — 205.188.116.71 (Talk | contribs) 03:19, 5 May 2009 (UTC) (left unsigned)
I use Ubuntu, I didn't fall for it either. ColdReactive 04:37, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
I didn't fall for it, but it was annoying. --Fangoriously 03:24, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
- yeah, good one. I didn't fall for it, but when I scrolled down and it was still there I was like "what the-? How did it do that?" Gfdgsgxgzgdrc
Ha ha. I actually fell for it for a second, but then I recognized the text. It's pretty cool, though. BubsHeadStand 02:57, 3 February 2011 (UTC)
That was cool. I'm using XP though. I can tell the difference between a real and fake virus. (I remove viruses). Tenerence Love 20:07, 5 May 2012 (UTC)

[edit] Vague
Hi there, Supuhstar. The page you created was deleted because there wasn't enough content for the article yet. However, what you typed up was moved here. I see you created the page again — it will be deleted again soon (for the same reason), but if you want to discuss the creation of the page, the above link is a good place to do so. Talk atcha later, Trey56 04:10, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Your signature
Hello there, Supuhstar. I am directing you to our signature policy page regarding your use of an animated gif/gif. On our policy it states that "images that are distracting are not allowed. Likewise, animated images are strongly discouraged." I suggest that you change yours accordingly. Thank you, — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 13:34, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- Thank you for pointing that out. However, I do not see how my —Supuhstar* could be distracting. I read the rules well before making it, it spins relatively slowly, I have not had a complaint given to me by any other sysops or admins, and how can a spinning plaque be any more attention-getting than Trey56's signature with his flashing gateanim.gif picture. If it is about the glitch that occurs when minimizing the picture where it is outlined in black at the repeat point, I am currently working on a way to solve that problem, but have thus far been able to come up with any solutions. If you have any suggestions on how to fix this glitch without using a new type of anim, I will be more than happy to consider it.
- Sincerely,
- As far as Trey's signature is concerned, his image used to pulse, but now it's static (or at least for me). I find your spinning logo severely distracting. You do not need to be get complaints from several sysops regarding your signature before you change it, as one (me) is enough. You are kindly asked to remove the animated image. If you want any ideas on what to put instead, I'd suggest a static version of the logo. Also, let's keep all conversations one the same talk page. — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 22:33, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- I will change my logo to make it much less distracting ASAP. Thank you. (P.S. It still pulsates for me.) —Supuhstar*
- Hey there — I see that my name came up, so I thought I'd make a comment. E.L. Cool's absolutely right — animated images in signatures are strongly discouraged. After finding out about this a while back I've had a few conversations with other users and administrators (see a couple of them here and here) and what I've found out is that it only becomes a problem if people find it distracting, and the people that I've asked haven't found mine distracting. But all it will take is one complaint, and I'll immediately remove that image.
- As for yours, I find your current image much less distracting (thanks for changing it). As a side note, you might have better luck removing that "pulse" glitch if you shrink the frames manually and then animate them as a gif. If you still get a single frame with a black border, then you can edit that one alone before you compile it. Anyway, see ya around! Trey56 02:12, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
- I see you got rid of the pulse glitch — awesome. In addition to your sig image, you've got four other personal images: Image:Supuhstar(spinning).gif, Image:Supuhstar.gif, Image:Computer over.PNG, and Image:RVL SuperMario illu01--screenshot large-402x402.JPG. To stay within the personal image guidelines of two plus a sig image, I should delete two of these — which ones should I get rid of? Thanks, Trey56 03:02, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
- I have decided that you may delete the following images:
- Please be aware that I haden't noticed I'd uploaded so many images. I will try not to do this again.—Supuhstar*
[edit] subpages
Hey, try not to create User talk subpages on other people's userspaces (I bring this up due to the recent creation of User talk:E.L. Cool/babel). Happy Wiki-ing! Bluebry 22:41, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- Will do. (I thought it was his main page)
[edit] Personal Images
Hey there, Supuhstar. According to HRWiki:Personal images, each user can only have two personal images plus one small personal image for a signature. You currently have these six personal images:
-
Image:Butt's_Twelve_By_Pies.jpg - Image:Computer_over.PNG
-
Image:RVL_SuperMario_illu01--screenshot_large-402x402.JPG - Image:Supuhstar(spinning).gif
- Image:Supuhstar(SupuhSmall).gif
-
Image:Supuhstar.gif
Please tag three of them with {{personal-image-abandoned|Supuhstar}} or {{delete|no longer in use}}. Thanks, Loafing 10:11, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
- Trey56 and I have alredy got this covered. Thanks, though.
- I'm afraid you don't quite have this "covered". You still need to mark another image {{personal-image-abandoned}} or {{delete}}. — Lapper (talk) 15:23, 17 March 2007 (UTC)
- That looks like it was tailored to only be accessible from a web address with no extension; so you can't hotlink it. Upload it to http://imageshack.us and then post it here. — Lapper (talk) 15:44, 17 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] The finer points of super-wikiing
Hey, good edit at [1], that extra line was not needed. Just wanted to point out that this kind of edit, where no words are changed (unless it's a spelling fix) or the page format is corrected to a correct form, is deserving of the "minor edit" flag. Not that you commited any big crime, mind you. The editing help gives more detail on this. Keep up the good work! - Qermaq - (T/C) 02:45, 22 March 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks! I've just been making so many comments, I forgot to check the "This is a minor edit" box when doing Gnome Work. Thanks again —Supuhstar*
[edit] Talk page etiquette

[edit] Personal images
Hi Supustar. You currently have 3 personal images, although according to HRWiki:Personal images you can have only two. The images are:
Please review them and mark one of them as abandoned or for deletion. Thank you, — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 04:16, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
- I uploaded Image:Strong Sad Tai Chi.JPG with the intent of it being displayed on the Strong Bad is in Jail page. Is it not still there? —Supuhstar*
- It was removed because it was deemed unnecessary. We don't usually put images in the Real-World References section, and that image doesn't really add much to the explanation of Tai Chi. Also, it is rather poorly cropped, and it is a JPG; the preferred format for images from toons is PNG. See HRWiki:Image use policy for more info. — Has Matt? (talk) 15:34, 4 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Pranked
I deleted your "Pranked" page. Such a page is not allowed under our User space rules. --Jaybor Day (Talk) 19:59, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
- OK.—Supuhstar* 03:17, 24 June 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Floating image
I am sorry, but you can't have the floating image you currently have on your user page. The problem, is that it breaks the wiki page and the sidebar becomes unclickable. While visiting your page there is no way to click on Recent Changes, Special Page, and so on. And that image is also misleading and annoying, as well as obscuring some of the text on your page. Text that you wrote yourself. Can you please remove it? — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 20:06, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
- It works as intended in IE7; that is, all those links are clickable. I don't suppose there's any way to get it to work in whatever browser you are using, eh, Elcool? OptimisticFool 20:10, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
- I uce FFx3. Userpages should be operational on every common browser. And beside the broken links there are also the other points I mentioned. — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 20:28, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
- I tried using shtml code to fix this but it wouldn't accept it. Do I really have to take it down? Maybe if a dev could give me a little sumpin' sumpin' (code my page from the back door), I could use that to make it hideable. I already have the code.—Supuhstar* 02:40, 24 June 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Userbox
Hi, Supuhstar, I recently removed the userbox from your page that said you are an admin. Only users who are really admins are allowed to use this box. Thanks for your understanding. Heimstern Läufer 11:08, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
[edit] pop up window
how did u make that pop-up window?— Deesejaiman (Talk | contribs) 03:19, 5 May 2009 (UTC) (left unsigned)
- I took some sprites from Stardock WindowBlinds' "Diamond" Skin (which is alot like Windows Aero) and assembled them in Ulead PhotoImpact 10 (now Corel PhotoImpact X3) and typed the words in Segoe UI size 11 font and saved as a .PNG. After uploading it here, I embedded it in the following code:
<!-- begin PRANK --> <div id="hideShow" style="background:none; position:fixed; top:0px; left:0px; height:100%; padding:0px 8px; border:0; width:128px;"> <br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br><br> ::::::::::::::::<div style="position: relative; width: 208px; height: 174px; overflow: hidden;"><div style="position: absolute; top: 0; left: 0; font-size: 250pt; width: 208px; height: 174px; overflow: hidden; line-height: 174px; z-index: 3;"><span class=plainlinks">[http://www.hrwiki.org/index.php?title=User_talk:Supuhstar&action=edit§ion=1 ]</span></div><div style="position: absolute; top: 0; left: 0; z-index: 2;">[[Image:Computer_over.PNG|208px|image page]]</div></div> </div> <!-- end PRANK -->
