The band traveled across Outer Space in their Space Machine, for no good reason other than to both run away from and give backstage passes to the "hot babe-liens" of the galaxy. While most of the band was apparently represented accurately, one member (Mary) was portrayed with red hair and a pot-belly to add comic relief. Other characters included Teeg Dougland, the band's manager who gives the band bad news, Mitch Overlord, a cyborg most likely intended to be the show's main villain, and the magical prankster Bozar. The space alien Nebulon made a cameo appearance. The show ended with a message from the real Larry.

"I'm afraid I've got some bad news, boys. You're in space!"

Limozeen: "but they're in space!" was a Saturday-morning cartoon show produced by Metalmation. The show followed the exploits of the band Limozeen as they traveled across outer space in the Space Machine making sure metal stays number one throughout the galaxy. The show stars fictionalized versions of the four band members (with Mary Palaroncini redesigned as a pot-bellied redhead for comic relief) alongside manager and bearer-of-bad-news Teeg Dougland. The show is broadly a parody of musical situational-comedy shows, in particular recalling Hanna-Barbera productions like Josie and the Pussycats in Outer Space.

The show had an extremely short run, being canceled during the airing of its pilot. Strong Bad owns the only known recording of the episode, which he introduced in a Strong Bad Email as an eponymous best thing. Clips of the cartoon have since been seen on the website, often as Easter eggs.

The show's pilot episode introduces the central conceit of the show — Limozeen both running away from and giving backstage passes to the "hot babe-liens" of the galaxy — as well as would-be recurring antagonists Mitch Overlord and magical prankster Bozar. The space alien Nebulon made a cameo appearance. Unfortunately for the band, the show is cancelled before the end of the episode, leaving the real Larry Palaroncini to hope that additional episodes may be eventually seen on syndication or DVD.
