The Brothers Chaps occasionally pay tribute to Florida in their toons. In addition being next to Georgia, Matt Chapman went to Florida State University to study film making.

- Email winter pool — One of the pieces of Fluffy Puff Translucent Dessert Related Substance after Strong Bad is rescued is shaped like Florida.
- SBCG4AP Advertisement — The place the email is sent from refers to Crenshaw Lanes, a bowling alley on the Florida State campus.
- Hooked on Decemberween — During "If I Don't Get Video Games...", Burdines, a Florida-based department store, is visible in front of the mall.
- Tennis Shorts — Strong Bad says that the Dual Tennis Shorts Lumpabra could light up the "Florida room", before wondering aloud what a Florida room is.
