Melonade is a preferred drink of Homestar Runner. It first appeared in "A Jumping Jack Contest", where The Cheat offered Homestar 147 glasses of it, and got refills from Strong Mad's melonade keg. Homestar Runner usually eats about 147 Fluffy Puff Marshmallows before drinking a tall glass of melonade. Melonade derives its name from the similarly formulated drink, lemonade, which is made from lemons rather than melons. In addition, the words "melon" and "lemon" are anagrams.

During melonade shortages, it can sell for as much as $2 per gallon.

According to the retro-themed Hremail 7, Homestar once had an endorsement deal with The Ethical Advancement of Melonade that made him "contractually unable to drink, talk about, or bathe in any other liquid". According to the hremail, said contract expired in March of 2003. During this email, several variants of Melonade were mentioned.

• Debut: A Jumping Jack Contest — The Cheat brings Homestar Runner an excessive amount of melonade to drink, in an attempt to sabotage him into dropping out of the titular contest.
• The Luau (mentioned) — Homestar mentions he has "a serious problem" with melonade, having drank 32 glasses.

• Tis True, Pom Pom, Tis True — Strong Bad expresses disappointment when he is not doused with melonade after beating Homestar at a race. Strong Mad obligingly clobbers him with a keg of melonade.
• Email anything — Homestar makes coasters for melonade using Sega tapes.
• Halloween Potion-ma-jig (mentioned) — Marzipan tells Homestar that the titular potion is melonade to get him to drink it.
• No Hands On Deck! — Bubs and Homestar share melonade (with Homestar noting that "We haven't talked about that much lately!").
• Everything Else, Volume 3 — Depicted on the cover and on the "Toons" menu.
• Email hiding — Strong Bad and The Cheat use Fluffy Puff marshmallows and a glass of melonade as bait in a trap for Homestar.
