CD Packaging Details
Part | Description |
---|---|
CD | It looks like a home-burned CD-R of the Videlectrix Media brand (which parodies the appearance of many CD-Rs), with a capacity of "70 jg". The title looks like it was hand-written with a permanent marker. On the underside of the CD, the word "Homestar" is laser-etched into the outer part of the middle. |
Cover | The front of the CD jacket has a blue ballpoint pen illustration of Strong Bad with blaring amps for feet, lightning bolts for arms, and two electric guitars sticking out of his head like gigantic horns. |
Inside Cover | Trogdor is burninating a modern-day city and fending off a jet, helicopter, tank, and some infantrymen. A defeated pig-man, possibly the Kerrek, is also shown. There is also a pouch-like slit to hold the booklet and sticker. |
Sticker | A rectangular sticker with the Limozeen logo in white on a black background. |
Booklet | The front has a color version of the illustration from the jacket. The next two pages feature three promotional posters:
Strong Bad
The Kinda Long-Haired Band
LIMOZEEN
The last two pages contain the drawings behind the credits and acknowledgments appear to be "prototype" drawings of some of the characters, including Teen Girl Squad and Eh! Steve!. A fat Strong Sad, a The S is for Sucks prototype and a Stinkoman without any blue hair can also be seen. A character that looks a bit like Homeschool Winner can be seen on the far right side. There are also a few pictures from Exaggerations. The back of the booklet contains a photo of Dangeresque-like sunglasses under a spotlight. |
Under the CD | Illustration of Dangeresque's "cool glasses". |
Back of Case | A hand-written track listing and copyright notice:
The Cheap as Free logo is present. |

The liner notes read:
"Strong Bad's musical talents exist at a crossroads of a crockload of
sonic tenacity, lyrical ascendancy, and melodic pretendency. These raw
ingredients are melted down in the brainfurnace of his mind and poured
at high velocity out of his fleshtangle mouth into the waiting vessel
of your eager ears like melted cheese into that little meatbowl that
happens when you microwave a single slice of baloney."
- — Strong Bad, talking in the mirror a few seconds ago
Welcome, taut listener, to this vinyl release of Strong Bad Sings! If
you're like me, you've spent the last 17 years of your life trying to
get the original CD release to play on your turntable, ruining needles,
wrecking the disc, and spending many fruitless hours on the phone with
Audio-Technica customer support. I even tried spray painting the CD
black and cut a bigger hole in the middle with a jigsaw so it'd look
like a seven-inch. It still didn't play (and actually made sparks this
time!) but I was able to sell it to Strong Sad for 23 bucks when I
wrote "UK Import" on it. The point is, this version of the album will
ACTUALLY work on your record player! Also Limozeen is on it! Twice!
And Taranchula! Definitely sub-woof your tweeters when those tracks
come on. I was kinda hoping Coach Z and Marzipan's songs would get cut
from this release but they're still on here. But it's mostly all me and
that means this record is full of train-droppers, know what I'm sayin'?
So get a super long extension cord, put your record player in your
car, roll down the windows, and crank this here opus while you drive
around the cul de sac until the neighbors call the cops*!How do I make #1 Jams with boxing gloves on? Drop the needle, taut
listener, and find out!

Easter Eggs
- At 6 minutes and 20 secs into the last track, Homestar Runner sings a hidden track, Secret Song.
- The CD contains the music video directed by The Cheat for "These peoples try to fade me". While video should auto-start in a Windows-based computer, it will not auto-start on a Mac OS-based computer. However, it can be viewed on either system, regardless of whether it starts itself automatically. The name of the CD when it is in the drive is "SUPER_SECRETS".
