[edit] Haldo
Just felt like dropping in to say hello. Enjoy your time at the wiki! Please be sure to tip your waitress and scrape and bantha droppings off of your shoes on the way in as to not stain the persian rugs. THank you.--ΨHomsarΨroksΨ 19:42, 26 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The number is...
So how do you find out your "H*R number"? —AbdiViklas 19:10, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
- Well, it's like the "Kevin Bacon" thing for movie stars. Who have you worked with/done a project with/etc. who's worked with/done a project with/etc. someone who's worked with/done a project with/etc.... TBC? So I've played with my cousin (1) who was with TMBG (2) who worked with TBC (3). Thunderbird and JoeyDay, I'd consider them to have a H*R number of 1 (direct interaction). How do you figure it out? Unless it's obvious, I dunno. Maybe you went to school with a guy who worked on a game project with Ryan Sterrit? - Qermaq - (T/C) 19:21, 29 March 2006 (UTC)
- Acutally, I don't think JoeyDay's met them in person yet. I think Me and Tom are the only wiki regulars that have done that. ⇔Thunderbird⇔ 01:23, 31 March 2006 (UTC)

Here you go, Qermach. Heimstern Läufer 03:54, 5 April 2006 (UTC)[edit] Music of SS's
What are the notes/chords that SS plays at the beginning of alternate universe? LePorello / T / C 18:17, 6 April 2006 (UTC)
- Basically an open Dsus chord, ending on D.

[edit] Van Buren!
Congradurations Qermaq! You have won the Pewter Van Buren Award for awesome work on...everything tonight! - Kookykman(t)(c)(r) 17:53, 25 November 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Re: Hey, check out here
(re here)
Yeah, it was still using a <font> tag though, so I changed it to a CSS one which should have included the '#'. Ed lim smildE / talk 22:50, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
- I have that site in my bookmarks, it's near impossible to remember it all! - Qermaq - (T/C) 22:52, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
- Most of the site should be using span tags instead of font tags anyways. Thanckxzs for the page, too. Ed lim smildE / talk 23:04, 8 April 2006 (UTC)
- Oh, thanks, sorry :S.
[edit] STUFF
Did I remove a valid vote? Whoops! That must have been an error. Bluebry 22:36, 12 April 2006 (UTC)
- Wait, I see why. When I reverted to PanPan's edit, I also overwrote Mycroft.Holmes' edit. Bluebry 22:38, 12 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Re: class vs id
In this case that same ID was already used since there already was a table of contents. This was just one of those userspace navboxes, so I changed it to class so it would look the same. Woddfellow2 doesn't really need links to link directly to that little navbox, especially since it's at the top of the page. Ed lim smildE / talk 01:41, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
- Ah, I had not seen that. Good one then. BTW, no problem responding on your own talk so the conversation stays together. I'll see it. - Qermaq - (T/C) 01:43, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
- Okay, I guess I can just do that then... Ed lim smildE / talk
[edit] Darth Katana Troubled
Hey Qermaq. I'd like to thank you for all the great and positive things you've said to Darth at his fanstuff talk page. I'm not sure he's listened to the words you've said, but I sure have. Thanks for helping. — Seriously (Talk) 22:09, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
- He is capable of being a really top-notch participant here. And I agree, he has some demons to deal with. But I took the liberty of changing one word to turn this from negative and defeatist to positive and hopeful. I really trhink he can do it. Whether he will, that's up to him. - Qermaq - (T/C) 22:12, 25 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Guitar
I think you play the guitar. Right? If so can you please make a user atWikiGuitar.net? It's a REALLY good wiki, with no users (But trolls.). Just Me and Decstuff. So please? And it also has Lessons. --TheThingé 13:17, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
- Well, I don't so much play the guitar as I understand the guitar. I looked at the wiki and it's looking pretty good so far. But I must be honest: I barely have time in my schedule to participate here. So I cannot make any promises.
- BTW - I looked at some examples at the wiki. "Tabs" are graphic depictions of what fret on what string is to be played, like my alternate universe above. But my "Different Town" thing (accessible from my main page) is simply chords and lyrics. That's not a tab, they're different. That said, feel free to use any musical content I post here on the new wiki if you wish, as long as you attribute the work I did to me. Good luck! - Qermaq - (T/C) 15:27, 29 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Span...
How do you do span class and span style for the same item? 'Cause I really need help for my sig!!!! —Einstein runner ()
- Well, span is an element. Elements can take multiple attributes, such as class and style. So:
- Here's some ideas for the span element: Custom page markers and custom tooltips.
- You know how headings are automatically coded as page markers? Well, here's the code for custom markers: <span id="marker name">Text</span>
- So, "text" is marked with the name "marker" and this link goes right to it.
- And with links, when you rollover them for 1 second, you see tooltips telling you where they'll go. Here's the code for custom tooltips: <span title="Tooltip Text">Normal text</span>
- So, when you rollover "Normal text" for the required moment, you'll see a tooltip with the text specified in "title".
- The second one's used in my sig. (Rollover for a desrcription of where it'll take you.) —Y2K ()03:33, 20 June 2006 (UTC)
- Forget it. I've removed the tooltips. --Y2K ()23:34, 30 June 2006 (UTC) {post-edit to archive}
[edit] Blocking ranges
After being away on IRC I saw what you posted about your little investigation of the troll's IP. I think you're on to something, but don't just wait for them to log on. Contact the admins (i.e.: Joey Day, It's dot com and Tom) via their talk pages. I'm sure you'll get a faster response. — Elcool (talk)(contribs) 13:27, 1 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Rap music
Just so you know, I was being facetious with this edit, reasoning that enough old rap songs sounded like that to surely make it a TTATOT. After a listening under the tutelage of Pom Pom's keen ears, however, they do sound a lot alike. Incidentally, we had started a talk thread on the subject, hoping to build up a discussion since audio questions don't often fare well under the straight yea or nay conditions of STUFF. — It's dot com 16:48, 2 May 2006 (UTC)
- I hadn't noticed the discussion. Well, I think this one'll speak for itself personally, but we shall see. - Qermaq - (T/C) 21:13, 2 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Instrument
Im thinking of changing to the saxaphone next year. _— Bubyman Lets chat
- Sax is fun - the embouchure is mostly the same, you already know how to deal with a reed, and the upper register fingerings are similar. Lower register will take some time to get used to, but it's just an octave down so it's easy. Sax is easy to learn but tough to master. Good luck with that! - Qermaq - (T/C) 09:13, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] yes Yes
um...im talking to strongstar runbad. im talking in two places cause i like to:)
so....thats that i guess...-Homsar7(Hom · Sar)
- But, you see, your conversations are useful to others, usually. In almost all cases (and I'd argue that the exceptions should go to a chat room) putting the conversation on one page is better for the wiki. - Qermaq - (T/C) 03:01, 3 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Original Quote Contest
"Don't fake the funk on a nasty dunk!" Hope I'm the first to get this, didn't see it anywhere else on the talk page, also, as the answer hasnt been revealed, is the puzzle competition still open? DumbMuscle 11:18, 8 June 2006 (UTC)
