Hey there, every peoples! My name not Bubs! I love Homestar Runner, I love Minecraft, and I'm just about the greatest guy ever! Or at least, some people think that. I know I do!
So what else... I don't date any girl, I don't have a propeller cap, and yes-- I'm ashamed to admit it-- I do have arms. But I still love Homestar Runner and everything about it.
Some general stuff about me before I go into some more specific-type stuff...
- My favorite Homestar Runner game is Stinkoman 20X6. I really wish they'd finish that dang thing.
- Lookin at a Thing in a Bag has got to be one of my favorite Homestar Runner toons ever.
- I really wish I could definitively name who my favorite character is, but I can't, so I'll just say-- I really like Homestar Runner, Bubs, and Senor Cardgage. (Man... so cool.)
- I just got Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People for Decemberween! I'm about halfway through Strong Badia the Free at this point. This is truly the greatest game.
- I can get really, really worked up over grammar. Don't type a run-on sentence any place where I might read it. I'll chop off your legs!
- Everybody loves my style!

Me, Homestar Runner, the Wiki, and I
So, unlike a bunch of other users I've seen, there is no specific moment I can cite as the first revelationary time I was exposed to Homestar Runner. I am fifteen years old at present, and I actually was introduced to Homestar Runner via my parents, who were really into it when I was growing up. My full appreciation for it didn't develop until about fifth grade though, which is kind of unfortunate, because at that time, the dot com was in the middle of its super-long hiatus. Anyways, I'm totally obsessed with H*R now, and I'm sure I've watched every single 'toon on the site at least ten times by now.
I'm honestly not sure how exactly I discovered this fine wiki. It was sometime in eighth grade, and I'm guessing it was probably a Google search or something. Anyway, I do remember being amazed that it existed-- like, "Holy crap, enough people care about Homestar Runner for there to be a wiki on it!" I decided to join it some months later. I'm delighted to see that this is such a bustling community, and I'm happy to be a part of it.
My contributions to the wiki are largely gnome work-- I oftentimes just click "Random Page", read the article, and edit it as needed. As I mentioned about, I'm really uptight about spelling and grammar, and will correct it whenever and wherever I can. I find that I've needed to add The House That Gave Sucky Tricks to like every single running gag list on the wiki. But hopefully someday I'll be able to make a major contribution or two-- it would be my dream come true to be able to write a 'toon transcript. Anyway, that's me. Happy thymes, everyone!
Strong Bad's Attractive Game for Cool People
So one of my major interests is Scratch, a kid-friendly programming language I started being self-taught in sixth grade. I've created quite a bunch of various fairly-simple not-entirely-lame games over the years-- you can visit my profile here.
But about halfway through the first semester of my highschool freshman year (that's this year), a revelation was had by me-- why come I haven't made a Homestar Runner game yet?! So I sat down and created some awexome pixelated graphics for most of the main characters, and by now I'm well into the development of making:
Strong Bad's Attractive Game for Cool People! The point-and-click adventure game whose name is in no way, shape, or form copied off an existing Wii game! I mean... sorry. That's all I could come up with. I thought it was a good name.
But no-- this is a real, actual Scratch game that is probably going to be released for free public playing sometime in Spring 2016. You can see the preview/teaser/trailer-type thing here-- you'll see some of the game sprites, a sample of my made-up dialogue (I try to stay true to the characters as much as physically possible), and a development blog that'll keep you all up to date on the... development.
For the sake of awesomeness, I've decided to transcribe the development blog on my user prolif as well. It's right at the bottom of the page, but you can CLICK HERE to jump down.
Strong Bad Emails
I have so far sent Strong Bad two emails in my life. Neither of them have been answered. I don't think Strong Bad likes me very much. Sniff.
20X6 Bubs
Dear Strong Bad,
What does Bubs look like in 20X6? I think he would look cool in robot boots.
From someone whose name you will make fun of
I can just imagine Strong Bad's immediate response to this. "Oh, Simone, trying to create a new character, eh? I see right through your little plan! DELETED!!"
Accidental E-mails
subject: Accidental E-mailsH’lo, Strong Bad,
From someone in PA
I was wondering, have you ever received any e-mails that were addressed to you by accident? If so, in what ways have you tormented the sender?
This one I sent a lot more recently (it would be a Lappier-era email, thus the Lappy template I used), and I thought it had a slightly higher chance of getting answered. I'm sure Strong Bad could've given or made up countless stories of accidental emails. But no... not answered either. What a shame.
Favorite Quotes
Some of the greatest, random-est, funniest quotes ever have come from Homestar Runner, and I use many of their quotes often. This here's a list of some of my personal favorites. Here-a I-a go-a!
Everybody loves the Homestar Runner! I often use his quotes with his trademark speech impediment, too.
- "Our family is, literally and figuratively, so great!" (A Decemberween Mackerel)
- "Okay, you're weird." (Lookin at a Thing in a Bag)
- "Sir or madam, are you all right? Do you need medical resistance?" (Bug in Mouth Disease)
- "Well maybe I will keep telling myself that!" (Email 'senior prom')
- "Never fear, Strong Bad! I know how to fix your computer box." (Email 'virus')

Strong Bad gots the style. That's pretty much all you gotta say about him.

Oh haldo, everyone! Apparently this company that's makin' this game is makin' other stuff too. Animasche-type stuff. So... check that out. When it comes out. Okay, bye! |
Strong Bad | 2:31 PM 1/26/2016 |
Have you ever sent an email to my non-pixelated counterpart, only to have it cruelly not answered? As of now, you can now send Strong Bad Emails to srmx12x@gmail.com, and watch my pixelated awesomeness give it all the snark I got! More information at https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/94658425/. |

For all you clamoring fans out there, we've decided to include some cool screenshots from our attractive game for your gazemazement! Just click the blue button in the corner of the screen for a sample of style. More o' thems will be coming soon! |
Homestar Runner | 6:43 PM 1/9/2016 |
Alright! Everybody's here now! Even the Poopsmith! Now we can literally and figuratively get this standing-out-in-The-Field show on the road! Which... we've been doing already. For several weeks. Hey, what's that smell? |
Strong Sad | 5:27 PM 1/8/2016 |
Oh, hi everyone, I guess. Sorry it took me so long to show up... I finally convinced Strong Bad into adding the doorway of my bedroom to the game. It's tough when the lead developer is your brother who hates you. I wonder what other features he's going to try to swindle me out of. |
Strong Bad | 12:02 PM 12/30/2015 |
Alright, Ultra Voice Mode is all up and running. Press the space bar to hear our "voices". Ugh, whoever they hired to do the voices is terrible, though. The Cheat could've done better. |
Homestar Runner | 10:20 PM 12/29/2015 |
Hey, check it out! We're currently installing "Ultra Voice Mode" into this thing, so you can hear us talk in really bad imitation not-quite-our-voices! It'll be great. |
Strong Bad | 4:58 PM 12/28/2015 |
Hey guys, sorry about the updates that have been not happening lately. Decemberween happened. You know. We should be able to get back on track pretty dang soon. |
Strong Bad | 4:25 PM 12/22/2015 |
Oh, uh... hi, Pom Pom! Sorry for forgetting about you earlier. Thanks for showing up. How ya bubblin'? |
Strong Bad | 6:01 PM 12/21/2015 |
Jeez, my Lappier's so sensitive that it gets a fatal error when I try to watch TV. This is gonna need to be resolved before any progress is made on the game. In other news, I think the only characters who are missing at this point are the Poopsmith and my dump of a brother. |
Coach Z | 5:31 PM 12/21/2015 |
Hey! Uh... hi! I'm here now! Out on the fierld! ... Who's gonna be forst to ask me fer some attagraffs? No? |
Strong Bad | 5:25 PM 12/19/2015 |
We're done pixel-rendering the basement... it looks a-pretty nice. We're still having a bit of trouble getting the ol' Telebision working, though. |
Marzipan | 11:27 AM 12/19/2015 |
Okay, everyone, I'm here now. I really don't like the way these pixels make my face look, though. Strong Bad tells me he likes it, but I think he's just making fun of me. |
Homestar Runner | 7:59 PM 12/18/2015 |
Whew! Finally got this game teaser thing shared. So we got that going for us. Which is nice. Marzipan told me she'll come and join us a bit later. |
Strong Bad | 5:28 PM 12/18/2015 |
Hey, Bubs showed up at The Field! I had to convince him first that it wasn't a plot to get him out of his concession stand... I think he bought it. |
Strong Bad | 3:48 PM 12/18/2015 |
We're working on sorting out some technical issues right now. My Lappier keeps getting all these error messages. It's annoying the crap outta me. |
