Ok wikifolks, I just off the phone with UPS and the birthday card saga is over. The card was delivered today at 2:02 pm. I'm sure Matt will appreciate the thought and the fact that we tried to get the card to him before his birthday. Ah, I remember that land. I too had no free time but it wasn't because of homework (I just didn't do that stuff), it was all the extra carricular stuff. I did football, baseball, Tae Kwon Do, D.A.F.Y., Invictus (Yearbook club), Cinnabar (Poetry Magazine), and Webmasters for the school website. It's amazing that I had time to breathe.

...and all of that pales in comparison, to try raise one small little boy. Dr. James Dobson described thes little guys in the book Bringing Up Boys as "all rocket, no rudder". How true, how true.

Today I tried to make a wikipedia account and it told me that there was already a Invisible Robot Fish, I thought first "how odd...that someone else would have that name" then I thought "perhaps I already made an account and forgot." Then today, when going through Tampo's old userpage I came across this edit. I guess that I shouldn't expect much from someone as annoying as Tampo, but I'm puzzled why he chose me since I can't remember having any dialogue with him. anyways. One, two, four, email me more. Hey everyone. I am working on a little project and one small component of it is to capture a screen shot with Strong Bad, Strong Sad, and Strong Mad, in it with no other characters in the shot. Well...consensus generally means that a group a has come to a common decision. In this page the opinions differ greatly and the users at the time was 5-3 in their opinions. That wouldn't even be good enough for STUFF. So no, there was not a consensus. Of those users that weighed in Tom, It's dot com, and Phlip, thought it was Trogdor, to whose opinion I give much weight.

Hi there Lazylaces, lemme start by saying that I'd be happy to help with your sig since it looks like you are having trouble. First, you can't trick media wiki by using the ascii characters in lieu of things like [[ | ]] or ://. It will interpret them as seperate characters. I see that you are trying to put a picture in your sig. Might I suggest that you see this page. Once you have the sig setup on a subpage and have followed the steps in the above help page, then all you'll have to do is type ~~~~ to stamp your name and date. Also I think the desired effect that you are looking for can be gained by typing

 [http://www.hrwiki.org/index.php/User:Lazylaces http://www.hrwiki.org/images/thumb/3/37/grinning_marzipan.png/19px-grinning_marzipan.png]

. Now, as for P-mail, The Paper has been a staple of SBEmails for like, forever. Actually forver is accurate. This is a count-down to when the paper is supposedly replaced. Some might think that nothing will happen on email #173, but I am not one of them.

Here is a little tip that I learned from Phlip, any image, when scaled down saves a smaller image on our server. You can go to the sandbox, take the image that you want, then scale it down to the desired size and don't forget to use show preview. Then right click that image and click properties. The image location should be displayed. When using this image, use the full path and only one [, instead of [[.

The rarely-awarded Pizza Trophy

Wow, Invisible Robot Fish, I'm completely blown away by the finished product of Mike's Birthday Card. It looks very professional, and 76" by 48"??? That's like the surface area of a door! On top of that, you did a great job of gathering signatures and facilitating the process for everyone involved.

So, I'm awarding you the rarely-given Pizza Trophy. I've always wanted to give this out, but it's rare that I've seen work that justifies the description:

This is a symbol of outstanding work representing collaborative effort toward a common goal. Superior to the Iron Cup. The Cheat won this award upon successful completion of all seven courses in Awexome Cross.

I'm glad to see that there are others that want to do this. I want to mention 3 things: #1) I am about to go a 2 week vacation and will be out of contact for awhile (for Missy we have some time). #2) Matt's birthday is coming up much sooner that Missy's. #3) I have had the honor and privilidge of doing this twice now. I don't think it would be fair for me to hog this. Out of this experience I have had the opportunity to talk Karen Wagner a few times, which was awesome. I must also talk about access. I am not a sysop so the fact that I was trusted with the address to send things to the TBC is very rare. I think the less people that know such information, the bigger blessing that we can be as awhole to TBC. The LAST thing that we want is for sensitive information to be given to the wrong person (and I'm not imply that any of you are the wrong person) and TBC get tons of ~~fan-mail~~ crap in the mail. For these reasons, I think it best for a sysop or duly chosen user by the sysops to take the helm on this.

Well, Matt already got a card, but Missy hasn't; I say we put her as the top priority for the moment. I see your point with the Brothers Chaps' mailing address. Not everyone could/can be trusted with valuable info like that. If that info was put in the wrong hands or was somehow leaked, TBC would be flooded with mail, and you, me, Sam, and anyone else involved would take the fall, maybe the whole Wiki, even. Maybe Loafing

could be trusted with that. After all, he is a sysop.

HC1: As I said on my page, if you're looking for something to do there are a lot of projects (see HRWiki:The Stick) that are more practical than this. (Do we even know her birthday?) A good umpiring buddy of mine has that as his license plate. My plate says HEY BLUE. It's been a good year. This was my first year doing college after years of HS. I did 3 D-1 games, 3 D-2 games, 4 D-3 games and 2 JUCO games. I was only expecting 1 or 2 college game with this being my first year as a college umpire.

I think that if guestbooks are eliminated (which, by the way, if something walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it's a [[Ducks|duck]]), you could rework this idea into something usable. You could probably take away the table and some of the other structure, but I don't see why you couldn't solicit to have people post comments about your user page here.
