Here goes this, when I have I ever backed down from a bad idea?
Appearances
- Original Games Menu — The menu is set in a classroom, with several lunch bags set across the floor.
- Yearbook Character Page — The characters appear in a typical school yearbook.
- In Search of the Yello Dello Commentary — Strong Sad recalls wearing a shirt that read "I'm #1" on it when he went to school.
- The House That Gave Sucky Treats — The Necco wafers remind Strong Sad of when he used to eat the colored chalk in school.
- Email stand-up — Lil' Strong Bad appears to be in a school talent show.
- Revenge of the King — The King of Town claims that he rules the school.
- Email anything — Homestar Runner mistakes the audience for a class, writes "HOMESTAR RUNNER" on the computer screen with a piece of chalk, and erases it, possibly mistaking it for a chalkboard.
- Teen Girl Squad Issues 4, 7, 8, 10, 12 and 14 — The girls all appear to be in a school (they are seen in preschool in Issue 7). They also perform on a school stage in Issue 8 and eat in a cafeteria in Issue 10.
- Email do over — Homestar is described by himself, and later by Strong Bad, as "from school". In the latter case, Homestar insists that he's The Cheat and is not from school.
- Email boring (really) — Strong Bad, Homestar, and Bubs recall having learned various things in school.
- Email modeling — Strong Bad appears on the cover of Husky Headed Boys Back 2 School Catalog.
- Halloween Potion-ma-jig — One of Homestar's choices when he gets to Strong Sad starts with, "I just graduated."
- Scroll Button Songs — In the scroll button song introduced on July 10, 2006, one of the lyrics is "I'm always late for school 'cause your moms drive slow."
- Email keep cool — Strong Bad mentions buying Back2School supplies.
- Decemberween Short Shorts — Strong Bad mentions a "hunchback kid in school".
- Quote of the Week — Coach Z exclaims that something makes him feel like a school kid on the first day of Christmas.
- Sketchbook — Stinkoman and 1-up are depicted as "schoolyard chums".
- Email winter pool — Gel-Arshie tells the viewer, "I'm coming to your house after school!"
Grades
Some appearances mention a specific grade or level of schooling:
- Email portrait — Strong Bad claims that Strong Mad's macaroni portrait of him could've been made by a five-year-old from kindergarten.
- Peasant's Quest — If you get a question wrong, one of The Three Keepers of Trogdor may turn Rather Dashing into Ron Cumberdale, a smelly kid that was in the fourth grade with the keeper.
- Real-Live E-Mails — Homestar continuously repeats the line "I had to repeat the fourth grade."
- Email high school — Strong Bad flashes back to when he and the other characters were in high school and middle school.
- Email senior prom — Many characters attend the senior (12th grade) prom.
- Email coloring — Marzipan teaches a "kindergarten" class (made up of Homestar, Homsar, and Strong Mad).
- Cool Things — Strong Sad says Dripping Yellow Madness moved away after fifth grade, which is also when Bubs fired Stan.
- Email hygiene — Strong Bad makes a hygiene film for fifth grade boys.
- Email licensed — Strong Bad requires unlicensed merchandise to be produced in a country that changed name five times since he was in the seventh grade.
- A Decemberween Mackerel — Marzipan's letter mentions that Homestar started fourth grade.
