Marzipan's Answering Machine
From Homestar Runner Wiki
Marzipan's Answering Machine is a collection of audio messages left for Marzipan on her home phone. A stylistic departure from the usual toon format on homestarrunner.com, animation is very limited and the series is primarily audio-based. The messages often dive deeper into interpersonal relationships between the characters, with each short message packed with insight. Some mainstays of the section are Strong Bad's unrelenting prank calls, Homestar Runner's constant misunderstandings, Coach Z's odd habits and tendencies (especially towards Marzipan herself), Strong Sad's depressing ramblings, and surprisingly frequent calls from The King of Town. It also features various other surprise messages and cameos from major and minor characters.

[edit] Fun Facts
- The answering machine cassette tapes on versions 1.0 through 8.0 never stop rolling.
- Up through version 14.2, the loading animation for each Answering Machine is the old rotating one. As of Version 15.2, the answering machine's loading screen has changed, showing a corner of Marzipan's table instead of the old spinning Homestar Runner logo.
- Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 17.2 is the only answering machine verison without a loading animation, due to there being no Flash variant of the toon.
- Prior to the December 31st, 2020 website update, Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 17.2 wasn't on the Marzipan's Answering Machine menu. Because of this, it could only be accessed through the "Holiday Toons" menu, the "New Stuff" menu, or, at the time it was released, the "What's New?" button on the Main Pages.
