  • During the Episode Hell Week, Mary is shown working at her computer with a Strong Bad Figurine sitting on top of it.

Adult Swim

At the end of a Sunday night bump on April 30th, 2006, Adult Swim asked viewers to check out "our podcast, or go see Homestar Runner [which kicks our a**]".

One bump recommending a book to help study for the SAT said: "Attention babies studying for the SAT".

One bump featured an email from the viewer asking Adult Swim: "Do you take your wrestling mask and boxing gloves off before you go to bed?"

Angel

Look closely at his shirt
  • In a season five episode of Angel entitled The Girl in Question, Spike and Angel visited Buffy's apartment and instead found Andrew, who was wearing a black Strong Bad t-shirt. Later in the episode, Andrew wore the same Strong Bad shirt with a pore strip plastered on his nose.
    • Incidentally, Andrew is the very same character who appeared in the Buffy reference.

Attack of the Show!

  • On the May 24, 2005 episode of G4's Attack of the Show! Kevin Pereira, the host, mentions Peasant's Quest.
  • On the July 6, 2005 episode, guest host Tom Fulp, creator of Newgrounds, was wearing a Homsar shirt.
  • On the July 12, 2005 episode, Pereira commented on a dragon tattoo saying that "It's almost Trogdor."
  • On the July 20, 2005 episode, Pereira mentioned that "the robots cannot beat the Trogdor."

The Big Bang Theory

In the episode "The Cohabitation Formulation," when it is revealed that Sheldon had been putting insects in Leonard's food, Raj referred to Leonard as Mothmouth.

Big City Greens

In the episode "Paint Misbehavin'," Tilly Green prepares Gloria a cup of skim milk and gummi bears. Later in the episode, a rendering of Trogdor is seen in an art gallery.

Beauty and the Geek 2 (The Israeli version)

Elad is seen wearing a blue Homestar hat in almost every promotional media, such as the promo for the show and the Facebook fan page.

Trogdor vs. Scoobies

In the series finale of Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Ep. 722), Trogdor was used as a creature in a game of Dungeons & Dragons.

Cheat!

On one episode of Cheat! on G4TechTV, they mentioned that if you use the random name generator enough times in the Xbox/PC game Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, Homsar's name will be generated. This is also true with Homestar's name.

ChuckleVision

In the episode "Off The Cuff", on the wall of Paul's workshop, a sign reads "NO SMOKING!" in the same text, color, shape and position as Strong Bad's No Loafing! sign.

Clarence

One episode of Season 3 is called "Valentimes".

CNN Student News

On the December 15, 2004 edition of CNN Student News, a short news magazine on CNN Headline news, they had a clip of a soldier in Iraq receiving a Kick The Cheat toy for Christmas.

Community

The song "The System is down" is referenced in the episode "Alternative History of the German Invasion" when it is sung by a group of Germans.

Countdown with Keith Olbermann

On the July 9, 2009 episode, Olbermann shows a web clip of Urban Dictionary featuring the phrase "Pullin' a Palin". On the bottom of the screen, the word fhqwghads is visible, along with a picture of Strong Bad.

CRUNCH

On one episode that aired on March 10, the host of the block, Ajay Fry, was seen wearing a Teen Girl Squad T-shirt.

d'FUSED

On one March 12th episode of d'FUSED, a segment on Red vs. Blue showed the cast of Homestar Runner in their real-world, plastic figurine state atop the preview monitor for a Red vs. Blue episode, which is now a RWBY preview monitor.

Filter

This tech review show asks viewers to send in their favorite websites, but there were three websites that they did not want people submitting anymore. Homestar Runner was ranked #3 with 166 submissions, Red vs. Blue was #2, and RuneScape was #1.

Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends

This should be self explanatory.
  • During the episode "Bloo's Brothers" a Bloo clone that looks very similar to Homestar appears very briefly. This version reappears in a mini-game in the lost game, "Big Fat Awesome House Party".
  • The ending of the episode "A Sight For Sore Eyes" is very similar to Old Intro 2.
  • In "Duchess of Wails", there's an orange imaginary friend that looks like Trogdor.
  • In "Infernal Slumber", both Bloo and Goo talk about "killer Pooooooosssssssumssss", dragging the word out much like in Teen Girl Squad Issue 3, (Goo pronounces it exactly like Strong Bad).
  • In "Squeakerboxxx", one of the prizes is a clock that looks exactly like Strong Bad's, complete with 12:00 as the time.
  • In the episode "Land of the Flea", Frankie apologizes to Eduardo and says, "We're sorry, for reals this time". Also in that same episode, one of Eduardo's fleas holds up a news paper and says "Eggs tree, eggs tree", much like that of Homsar.

G4tv.com

  • On this episode of G4tv.com on G4, an unnamed person, playing the role of Laura Foy's date, was seen wearing a "Trogdor" shirt. The video clip, entitled Gamer Dating Do's And Don'ts is now available for viewing at this location.
  • In a commercial for Cinematech, the title of Peasant's Quest is seen very briefly.
  • In an online ad for G4's "The Cheat Sheet" it stated that it had "So many cheats, your head may a'splode."

Global News

On one report on the show, the reporters were interviewing a girl wearing a Strong Sad T-Shirt.

Happy Endings

The episode "Spooky Endings" contains the phrase "Life gave you melons. Make melonade."

Hounded

In the episode Rufus vs. Rufus of the CBBC series Hounded, the protagonists travel through several fantastic locations, including an oversized child's bedroom. In this location, a poster of Trogdor is clearly visible on the background wall.

Junkin'

On the television show Junkin', the co-host, Dave Bird, has appeared wearing Trogdor and Strong Bad T-shirts.

Live at 5

On January 31 2006, on Live at Five (Atlantic Canadian 5 o'clock news), there was a segment about chronic pain caused by computer usage that featured a group of kids watching Teen Girl Squad Issue 10 on the computer.

In an episode called "Breakout", Coop tried to use an attack called Double Deuce by jumping and putting two fists in front of him.

Modern Marvels

In an episode focusing on "Super Guns", footage of a firing range is shown. Spraypainted on the wall of the range is "No Loafing."

Monster House

In an episode of Monster House called "Sports House," the host, Steve, is wearing a Strong Bad T-shirt during the introductions. This episode first aired February 2, 2004. In the Christmas House episode, a group of 'carolers' from across the neighborhood sings for the people living in the house. One girl is wearing a Strong Bad T-shirt.

My Gym Partner's a Monkey

  • At one point in the episode called "Making the Grade", Jake Spidermonkey says Homsar's line from Where's The Cheat?: "I just lost my jenga jam."

New York Noise

The entire video for Experimental Film was shown.

NOVA scienceNOW

During the premeire of the fourth season, a red Trogdor can be seen outside the office of Luis von Ahn. Beside it, it reads: "The Evil Dr. von Ahn: Burninator, Computer Science Department."

NFL Films: Game of the Week

About three quarters through this hour-long recap of the game, a Falcons' victory, one of the defensive linemen for Atlanta, Patrick Kerney, points to his family in the stands. One of them is holding up a sign that says "GOOD JORB!", an unmistakable reference to Coach Z.

One Dollar

In the first episode of this CBS All Access series directed by Craig Zobel, a child is seeing watching Twenty THANXty Six on television.

The Proud Family

  • In one episode, someone presses the Delete key, and the screen flashes, "DELETED," in the Tandy's font.

Pulse

In early 2004, the show Pulse on G4TechTV featured an interview with the Brothers Chaps in which they were asked about the new game that they are developing for the Atari 2600. They showed many video clips of their Atari game. The Chaps talked about how they record their voices and how successful they have been. They announced that later in the year they planned to release a DVD with the first hundred emails. After the commercial break, the hosts interviewed the company that is developing the Homestar Runner game, Videlectrix, which was really just one of the Brothers Chaps wearing a fake mustache.

Ripley's Believe it or Not!

In a segment talking about painted silicon computer chips, one of the examples shown has Strong Bad painted on it.

Robot Chicken

An episode of the show's ninth season involves a sketch of a SWAT team killing off the residents of Free Country USA for the characters being an "illegal embargo" for 20 years. Upon arrival, Strong Bad kicks the Cheat for safety (fate unknown), the King of Town shoots himself, and Strong Mad charges towards the soldiers but gets shot down. Homestar runs off and prepares but gets shot upon running away, and Frank Benedetto also gets shot. At an interrogation office, Homestar is bandaged and Strong Bad is handcuffed. Homestar is allowed to roam free because he's white but Strong Bad stays at the SWAT prison due to being a Mexican wrestler. Homsar ends the sketch by saying "DaaAAAaaaAAA! Make America great again!"

- When asked about the sketch on Twitter, Strong Bad replied back saying that "nobody paid me nothing or asked permission or anything" and that he mostly hates chickens, especially in a pan.

In the season 2 episode Spider With a Top Hat, the aforementioned spider summons several 6-packs of Cold Ones. The packaging is different from the classic look, but the name is the same.

Still Standing

On the fireplace mantle in the living room, there is what appears to be a homemade version of a Marzipan puppet. The only difference is that her dress is a lighter, more pink color, and the trim ribbons on it are purple. The Marzipan-doll is particularly noticeable in the Episode 6 ("Still Cheering," in which Brian joins the football team and then becomes a cheerleader), during the scene when Bill and Brian are rehearsing cheer routines.

The Suite Life of Zack and Cody

In the episode "Footloser", Max comments "I call it last place" about a dance move of Cody's, much as Homestar did in Pumpkin Carve-nival.

Survivor: Pearl Islands

When Ryan Shoulders picks up some tree mail (the show's system of getting messages to the castaways), he sings the opening to SB Email techno, singing it as "the tree mail, the tree mail, what, what, the tree mail."

Test the Nation

One person on the Gamers team on the 2006 version of the New Zealand version of this quiz show is wearing a Strong Bad t-shirt.

The Tonight Show with Jay Leno

Leno was showing examples of absurd eBay auctions and having the audience guess whether they sold or not. One of them was a laptop that had been shot with a shotgun. Its subject line said "LIKE USED! SLIGHTLY SHOTGUNNED!" like the tags on the similarly shotgunned Compy at the end of virus. It sold.

Unikitty!

The episode "Film Fest" caps off Unikitty and Puppycorn's film with the words "It's over!" drawn on loose leaf lined paper, in reference to the Teen Girl Squad ending.

Wonder Showzen

In an episode of "Wonder Showzen," a puppet named Chauncey, in one of many skits, informed the number Two that if she didn't stop talking, he would 'puke his pants,' as Coach Z threatened in secret recipes. Number Two proceeded to leave the screen.

X-Play

  • On an episode of G4TechTV's X-Play, the wrestling game "WWE Day of Reckoning" is reviewed. To demo the "create your own wrestler" mode, the reviewers create a wrestler that looks suspiciously like Strong Bad, and appears to be named "ESSBEE".
  • On the August 27, 2006 episode, Adam Sessler references "a neverending bottle of Mountain Dew".
  • On the November 21st episode, they reviewed Guitar Hero 2, and showcased the song "TROGDOR!", an actual unlockable track in the game. They also used the song when nominating the game in their best of year awards.
  • During the preview of "Neverwinter Nights 2", in reference to the horrid framerate, Adam Sessler is heard muttering, "Wow, this game must be running on a Tandy 400".
  • In an episode featuring game previews Adam Sessler makes reference to "a light switch rave", a reference to techno.
  • in the April 15, 2008 episode, the Homestar Runner logo and Strong Bad Gameways were shown.
  • In a recent episode a preview of Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People was shown as Adam Sessler interviewed one of the developers of the game.
