Blue Laser is the sworn enemy of the Cheat Commandos. They are a parody of COBRA, the principal evildoers of the G.I. Joe cartoons on which Cheat Commandos is based, as evidenced by:
- Their shrill-voiced commander, whose face is partially obscured.
- Their outlandish plots, such as their threat to blow up the ocean, which COBRA actually sought to do in one episode.
- The indeptitude of the troopers.
- Their titular blue lasers, the same colour as those fired by COBRA in the G.I. Joe cartoons.
- Their Cobra-inspired uniforms — blue bodysuits with their organization's logo positioned on the center of the chest.
Remarks
- If you watch closely, you'll see that Blue Laser Commander's eyepatch moves from one eye to the other, depending on which direction he's facing, indicating that his cells are merely flipped over.
