Lucas created the Star Wars series, writing and directing the first movie and continuing to write and/or direct the subsequent five films. He remained heavily involved in many aspects of the series until the 2012 sale of Lucasfilm to Disney.
- Email what i want — Strong Bad asks the sender, Talon Jendro, if George Lucas came up with his name.
- Strong Badia the Free — Using the glowstick on the katana causes Strong Bad to say, "Glowing swords used to be cool, until someone ruined my childhood", referring to fan backlash against Lucas driven by the Star Wars Special Editions and prequel trilogy which some fans considered to have "ruined" their childhood fondness for the series.
Indiana Jones
- Email morning routine — Strong Bad calls Strong Sad "Interruptor Jones".
- The System is Down — Strong Bad explaining "We've got our top men working on it 'round the clock" is a reference to what the government representative tells Indiana Jones about the status of the Ark of the Covenant at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark.
- Email best thing (DVD commentary) — Strong Bad compares his research on four-armed Grimace to the Grail diary, Dr. Henry Jones Sr.'s research on the Holy Grail from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
- Email pizza joint — In response to the lengthy name of "Strong Bad's Strong Badian Pizz—", The Ugly One (in a sarcophagus) declares "I belong in a museum!", referencing Jones' refrain from Last Crusade that ancient artifacts "belong in a museum".
- Strong Badia the Free — While in the Homsar Reservation, asking Strong Sad about the tuning fork will prompt him to respond "It belongs in a museum!"
- Dangeresque 3: The Criminal Projective — Dangeresque says that the paintings in the office "belong in a museum!"
- 8-Bit is Enough — When asking Strong Bad to help him find his lucky quarter, Homestar comments, "I hear you're the best digger in Cairo", a modified quote from Raiders.
- Cheat Commandos: Two Part Episode: Part 2 — Subtlefuge's description of Swampslash's abilities is similar to Indiana Jones' exaggerated description of Marcus Brody in Last Crusade: "He speaks a dozen languages[...] He'll blend in, disappear..."
- Halloween Hide & Seek — Asking Strong Bad about The Cheat will result in Strong Bad quoting the same Indiana Jones statement about Marcus Brody used in Cheat Commandos: Two Part Episode: Part 2, verbatim.
- @StrongBadActual tweet (13 Jan 2023) — The Cheat provides an alternative to "tired old Indym'n Jones gifs": an animation of Strong Sad rapidly aging into a skeleton, mirroring Walter Donovan's fate in Last Crusade.
Other
- Email montage — The "Where are they now" photos and text at the end of the email are a likely reference to the ending of the 1973 film American Graffiti, where it was first used.
- Email hygiene — Gene employs THX special effects artists to operate a fake fire in his bedroom.
- The House That Gave Sucky Tricks — Marzipan dresses as Captain EO, Michael Jackson's title character of a Disney theme park movie executive-produced by Lucas.
