Yep, that's exactly right — as a side note, I love it when TBC put little Easter eggs in their toons that you can only find by decompiling the Flash file (that floppy disk is mostly obscured by the black border). So, since I have nothing to lose, I might as well observe that the statue that appears there seems to be a moai, so I'm wondering if the game might be Moai Kun. Well, I remember reading somewhere that what Princess Toadstool/Peach said at the end was different in the Japanese NES version (and even in the GBA remake, so I remember playing once). I do not wanna spaz out on every single unnecessary change, so I'll quote, from this site:

The Japanese SMB3 features a more serious Princess Toadstool. In the Japanese version, Princess Toadstool originally said, "Thank you! Finally, peace returns to the Mushroom World. The end!"

Picture: "Hahaha! Oh wait..."

As a side note:

...it is interesting to note that neither the Japanese nor English versions of SMB3 in Super Mario All-Stars are based on their respective NES versions. Instead, both games contain an amalgamation of the Japanese and English versions, with the level changes (such as the world 1-1 Fortress) remaining from English version, along with the graphic "gimmicks" (such as the suit flying off effect) from the Japanese version.

And if I must state again ("Oh no! Don't do it!!!") Oh drop that. Anyway, if I must state it again, I said that the non-joke ending was also repeated for the GBA remake. Princess Toadstool/Peach says "Thank you! Peace has at last returned to our Mushroom Kingdom!" And with that, I re-checked and it was like that.

Well, I'll have to ask you to go back to here and here. The original world names from the NES Japanese edit were mostly kept for the GBA remake. "Castle of Koopa" was kept but of course they changed it to "Bowser's Castle", in my opinion because they had to change that to fit today's standards... or something.

And if you ever play the GBA remake, you'll see they decided to add a little motion to the static pictures of the original, so that all the characters fit into the place when the freeze-frame sets in for each of them. (Get what I'm saying?)

When does a Homestar Runner main character imitate the hero who, according to the US version, stars in this game?

The game is Street Fighter 2010: The Final Fight. Homestar Runner imitates Ken from Street Fighter in dangeresque 3. The English localization of the game changed the main character's identity and backstory from Kevin Striker to Ken to imply that he is the same Ken from the original Street Fighter. -- Tom 16:28, 13 May 2007 (UTC)

Yup — great work! Just to unpack your answer for our viewers at home, the game is The Legend of Zelda, and the instruction manual originally referred to the currency as "rubies" (which appeared on Strong Bad's ruby-encrusted pocketwatch in dreamail). Later installments in the Legend of Zelda series changed the name of the currency to "rupees", also the currency of India, which Homestar mentions in isp.

And yes, HAL Laboratory did Lolo and the Kirby games. And yes, that will be all. do over was transcribed by Jay. Journey to Silius starred a "Jay McCray" and was originally going to be based on The Terminator, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. Hey, GeoBlu2. The default times displayed on the wiki are Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). You can change the way times are displayed in recent changes and page histories by going to Special:Preferences, clicking the "Date and time" tab, and entering a number of hours in the "Offset" box. If I remember correctly, you're in the Pacific Time Zone, which is 7 hours behind UTC. So, enter "-7" in that box and click "save".

Finally, note that the timestamps on talk pages will not be affected by this; they will continue to be displayed in UTC time. Let me know if you have any questions, Trey56 02:45, 3 July 2007 (UTC)

Another thing about#Redirects

Trey, do you know why the redirects that people make that link to a certian part of a page instead of just the page (for example, TTATOT links to HRWiki:Glossary#T) the extra linking doesn't work on my computer (meaning it only takes me to HRWiki:Glossary without linking me to the #T part. I know this isn't very important, but if you have a way for the linking to work it would melp me some possibly with my finding and removing redirects. Also, something like that, is any time someone makes a link to a QOTW with a link to a specific quote by using the ID, it again only links me to the top of the page instead of the quote that has that ID. If you're using Safari (which it sounds like you might be, since you've got a Mac), then that's the problem. (Perhaps Tom's suggestion is the underlying reason) Whenever I use Safari to browse the wiki, I encounter that problem as well as a few others. Hey there, Captain N. Uploading of images by brand-new users is temporarily disabled for a short period of time, after which you will become "autoconfirmed" and be able to upload them. Judging from the time you created your account, I'd guess that this would happen for you in about 11-12 hours or so. Hope that helps, and let me know if you have any more questions! Table of Contents

Hey Trey, CaptainN here again, have another question for you. At the top of a lot of pages, like the one were on right now, there's a table of contents. Do those come automatically after a set number of sections, or do you have to add them, or what? Needing help, CaptainN 05:33, 12 August 2007 (UTC)

Hey there, CaptainN. I'm not sure what the default setting is for when a table of contents appears, but I imagine it happens when the page has a certain number of defined headers.

I can tell you how to force the appearance or disappearance of a table of contents, however. If you want one, type __TOC__, and if you don't want one, type __NOTOC__. Hope that helps, Trey56 06:16, 12 August 2007 (UTC)
