Birds in the Teen Girl Squad comics are a target for constant abuse. In Issue 1 the birds are shot to pieces by a crudely drawn helicopter. They fare no better in Issue 2 where they are munched by a passing cloud. In Issue 3, the sun becomes a buzz saw and the feathers fly. Their next appearance is in Issue 5, where a mailbox devours a postcard with a picture of the birds on the back, and What's Her Face nearly gets her hand bitten off.
