Reynold may have a darker side to him. He takes the abuse of the others only to a point, until he loses his cool as seen in [[2 Part Episode: Part Two]]. In here, he finally let loose his rage for never being allowed on missions and threatened to tear off "Gunhaver's" face after urgings from Blue Laser Commander. This scared the commander, to which he states "Struck a nerve there, eh Scranjob?' Reynold decided he liked the name, and as he was offered a job as a BLue Laser soldier in the [[Two Part Episode: Part One|earlier episode]], he became Blue Laser's sidekick. As a sidekick, he stole all of the skee-ball tickets in the world and replaced them with fake ones in order to crash the carnival economy, though he may have been acting. Either way, his plan failed and got Gunhaver rehired due to his alleged "success". As Scrawnjob, he wears a tie in the shape of the Blue Laser Lighting Bolt and wears a loose fitting uniform (likely loose as he had been starved throughout the two halves of the episode). It is unknown who his loyalty is now to, as it was never revealed.

Without the Glasses

Reynold is a civilian contractor for the Cheat Commandos. He wears glasses and a fake tie, and his favorite drink is milk. In addition to the Reynold action figure, you can also buy Reynold's Apartment Extreme Playset. In the Cheat Commandos commercial, we learn that he once had a girlfriend who would possibly buy his groceries for him, but she left him some time ago. Reynold has a voice which only slightly varies from Strong Sad's.

Reynold's first appearance as an animated character was in the Toon Shopping for Danger. He is unhappy with his job and wants to go on a mission with the other Cheat Commandos, believing that he could be a "good mission guy". However, Crackotage once told him, "You can't shoot, and you can't fly! If you came with us, you'd prob'ly die!" In fact, all of the rest of the Commandos seem to treat him as though he were a kid, illustrated by his lesson about Appropriate Peer-2-Teen Choice Behaviors in Commandos in the Classroom after a frustrated Reynold threatened to go home and "get teen pregnant".

Reynold's treatment at the hands of his fellow Cheat Commandos has gotten worse over the years. It is revealed in 2 Part Episode: Part 1 that Reynold's "office" is actually a prison cell containing only a toilet; Reynold is locked in there for months at a time and is rarely fed by the team, which explains the rather emaciated appearance he has in the cartoon. In 2 Part Episode: Part 2, Blue Laser Commander takes advantage of Reynold's dissatisfaction with the Cheat Commandos to recruit him as a new Blue Laser agent codenamed "Scrawnjob". In this role, Reynold is given credit for Blue Laser's diabolical plot.

He suffers from strabismus, a muscular failure that causes the eyes to move in different directions when not wearing corrective glasses or lenses. He has a romantic interest in Foxface, the only known female Commando. However, his attempts to "be one of the guys" have only led to embarrassment, as he is not good at swearing (evidenced by his best effort: "diaper biscuits") and he has never eaten pizza.

Reynold is the only Commando known to have parents or a sibling (at least until the debut of Subtlefuge), a brother. He and his brother do not get along very well, as Reynold dislikes the fact that he is unable to sleep in his room when he returns to his parents' house for Thanksgiving because his brother is renting it (among other things). His brother thinks he is "so lame".

Reynold is one of the Cheat Commandos featured in the first Cheat Commandos figurine set.
