![]() | Homestar Runner | Tobias Fünke | Tobias Fünke is a character on the comedy Arrested Development. Tobias has been known to paint himself blue, in an attempt to join the Blue Man Group. He also suffers from being a never-nude, which results in him always wearing a pair of jean cutoffs. One of the running jokes on the show was that Tobias would leave blue handprints around the house, like the one that shows up at Marzipan's house. | |
![]() | Strong Bad | Mac Tonight | Mac Tonight was a McDonald's mascot that first appeared in 1986. Mac was originally created locally for the west coast of the USA, and to increase the after-4pm dinner business. He had a crescent moon for a head, wore a suit and sunglasses, and was depicted as being a jazzy lounge singer. The name was a parody of the song "Mack the Knife". The song that played over the advertisements, called "It's Mac Tonight", was also a variant on that song, but with McDonald's-themed lyrics. At the end, Strong Bad spoofs the jingle in question. | Wikipedia article |
![]() | Bubs | Adam Yauch as MCA as Nathan Wind as Cochese | Adam Yauch was a member of the rap-rock band Beastie Boys, where he used the stage name MCA. In the music video for their song Sabotage, which was stylized after 1970s crime shows, MCA played the actor Nathan Wind, who played the cop Cochese. The video was directed by Spike Jonze. | Wikipedia article |
