Homestar Runner | Bod | Bod is an animated children's television program first shown on the BBC in 1975 (later aired in the US on Nickelodeon in the early '80s). The show, adapted from a children's book series, is about a young boy named Bod who lives in a town with several other characters (seen in an Easter egg) who were all introduced with memorable musical themes. The show used a simple, limited animation style and featured a single narrator rather than voice actors. As far back as 2001, The Brothers Chaps have cited Bod as an early inspiration of Homestar Runner. | Wikipedia article | |
