Strong Bad As Jambi Strong Bad Jambi Jambi is a genie character created by Paul Reubens that first appeared as part of his 1981 stage production, The Pee-wee Herman Show, and later appeared as a character on the 1986 television series Pee-wee's Playhouse. Played by John Paragon, Jambi was a floating head that resided in a box (hence Strong Bad's wearing of a box surrounding his head) and would often appear whenever someone said the word "wish" ("Wish?
