Most Strong Bad Emails have their "back" button in the bottom left corner of the computer. If the email ends away from the computer, the "back" button is in either the bottom-left or bottom-right corner of the screen. But some Strong Bad Emails have special back links.
[edit] Appearances
- Email i she be — Although the standard back link is used, when the scene cuts to The Cheat at the computer, the back link changes position to the bottom right of the screen.
- Email 12:00 — The back link appears as a display on the clock.
- Email gimmicks — The back link flickers.
- Email property of ones — The link appears in a needlepoint design.
- Email sb_email 22 — There are two back links: One at the end of the main toon and one at the end of the Easter egg.
- Email invisibility — Although the standard back link is used, when the scene cuts to the trashed Tandy, it changes position to the bottom right of the screen.
- Email action figure — Strong Bad's hand blocks the spot where the back link usually appears, so it appears on the right of the Compy's screen. This also happens in fingers.
- Email crazy cartoon and mile — The back link appears in Powered by the Cheat form.
- Email local news — The back link appears on the top-left of the Action Cool 5 paper.
- Email caffeine — The back link appears as a design on Strong Bad's project.
- Email video games — When the back link first appears, it is white; when the scene cuts to the boxes of the video games, it turns black.
- Email flashback — The back link appears at the bottom left of the screen instead of the bottom left of the Compy's screen.
- Email theme park — Since The Paper comes down twice, the back link appears twice.
- Email extra plug — There are three back link oddities in this email: there are two back links, one when The Paper comes down and one when the screen changes from the Compy to the group shot; both back links are in a handwriting style; and the back link on the Compy is visible (but not clickable) in the group shot.
- Email part-time job — The back link appears on the microwave's button.
- Email boring (really) — There are two back links, the standard back link, and one that appears during the transition. Although the second back link disappears after the transition, it is still clickable.
- Email record book — The back link appears as a dialog balloon from Count Longardeaux.
- Email 4 branches — The back link appears as a design on a banner.
- Email the movies — The ASCII text blocks the spot where the back link usally appears, so it appears a little higher.
- Email buried — The back link appears in a handwriting style.
- Email love poems — The back link appears at the bottom-left of the screen instead of the bottom left of the Lappy's screen.
- Email magic trick — When the back link first appears, it is at the bottom-left of the screen; after the scene with Strong Sad, it appears in the bottom-left of the Lappy's screen.
- Email being mean — Strong Bad's drawing blocks the spot where the back link usually appears, so it appears at the bottom-left of the screen.
- Email email thunder — The back link appears in the font used for the emails' names.
- Email hremail 3184 — The back link appears on the table.
