- As per usual, Strong Bad's costume is over-the-top.
- Homestar Runner compliments others' costumes in song throughout the teaser.
- The hidden message "Dislike smoke" is a reference to Dodongo from The Legend of Zelda (see Real-World References below); Hence it is also a reference to the chair, in which decompiling the Flash file to try to view the supposed picture of Strong Bad's parents instead reveals the message "nice try dodongo!".
Real-World References
- Strong Bad's costume, and the entire teaser visual, is a reference to the Graboids in the movie Tremors.
- In the previous teasers, the moon is in the top-right corner. In this teaser, however, to more closely match the movie poster for Tremors, it is larger and behind the characters.
- The hidden message "dislike smoke" references the original The Legend of Zelda game, when an old man tells the player that "DODONGO DISLIKES SMOKE."
