Strong Bad General Zod General Zod is a supervillain from DC Comics, a megalomaniacal Kryptonian and one of Superman's greatest foes. Strong Bad's costume is from the movie Superman II, where Zod is portrayed by actor Terence Stamp. The King of Town Captain Cupcake Captain Cupcake is an advertising mascot created to promote the line of CupCakes made by Hostess Brands. He was the second mascot introduced to promote the company’s snack cakes, following the earlier Twinkie the Kid. The Captain, like his predecessor, is an anthropomorphic version of the product he promotes, dressed in clothing similar to what a navy ship’s captain might wear. Marzipan Captain Planet Captain Planet is a superhero conceived by media mogul Ted Turner to promote environmental awareness and the central character of the 1990s cartoon series Captain Planet and the Planeteers. The story of his origin involves five teenagers from various parts of the world, each of whom is given a special ring with a specific power by Gaia, the Greek goddess of the Earth who awoke in the 20th century to discover her realm had been overrun by pollution. Four of the rings represent the four classical physical elements (Earth, fire, wind, water) and the fifth represents life (heart). When the five rings are joined, Captain Planet is summoned.
