Transcript
{cut to the characters standing in a field. Crickets chirp for several seconds.}
HOMESTAR RUNNER: Hey everybody, I really like your covered all in black ink costumes. Kinda stole my idea, though. Don't you think?
{Crickets' chirping fades out.}
Easter Eggs
- When the Flash file is decompiled, there is a hidden message that reads "sorry ch** l". The individual letters are behind Bubs, Strong Mad, Homestar Runner, The Cheat, and The Poopsmith. Also, the silhouettes for Coach Z, Pom Pom, Strong Sad, The King of Town, and Homsar are all white silhouettes. Finally, the silhouette of Marzipan is in the middle of the picture, and in her original place is Marzipan dressed as a rejected character.
Fun Facts
- Once again, this teaser is similar to the teasers for the previous two years' Halloween toons, Jibblies 2 (2007) and Most in the Graveyard (2008):
- Silhouetted characters (in the same order as the previous teaser)
- Action that refers to the previous year's toon occurs after waiting
- Hidden text behind the characters
- Strong Bad depicted in an outrageous costume
- The back button always returns to Main Page 7.
- Homestar's remark about the costumes is yet another reference to what one is supposed to be for Halloween.
- When decompiled, Marzipan is actually dressed as Velma Dinkley, a character from the Scooby-Doo franchise. This is actually a costume thought of, but then not used, intended for The House That Gave Sucky Treats.
