- The zeppelin on fire is a reference to the Hindenberg, a zeppelin that exploded. It is also used as cover art for some Led Zeppelin albums.
- Strong Bad doesn't seem to move his mouth.
- "Would you like to ride in my beautiful balloon?" is a line from "Up, Up and Away" by the group Fifth Dimension.
- This is the only main page where Homestar's propeller is constantly spinning.
