Invented Sports

  • In Search of the Yello Dello — Homestar and Pom Pom play a combination of football and basketball. They are shown on a football field with at least one basketball hoop and both kinds of ball being thrown. Strong Bad comments on it in the commentary and Homestar replies that it is America's pastime.
  • A Jorb Well Done — A strange sport is shown where Pom Pom seems to earn points for bouncing on Strong Sad after the latter is tackled by Homestar. Later in the cartoon, Homestar seems to earn points for changing directions while running.
  • Email 1 step ahead — The viewer is allowed to play a new sport: the Peg Strong Sad game.
  • Email mascotThe Cheat is the head of the "Golf Club Team" of Crazy Go Nuts University. The "sport" he plays is beating the opposing "team" with a golf club.
  • Email theme parkHomsar says it is time for "tasteball". How tasteball is to be interpreted is a mystery, though by its name it seems to be a sport of some kind.
  • Marzipan's Answering Machine Version 14.2 — Coach Z reminds Marzipan of upcoming "shin" tryouts. The sport apparently involves shin-guards, shin-pads, shin-protectors, and shin-balls. Presumably, the sport is played with one's shins.
  • Email the paper — Homestar and Homsar play Strong Bad and The Paper in what appears to be basketball, but played with an American football.
