Doing it right ways all the time

Homestar is working in a Waffle House-style restaurant.

Games - The waffle iron opens. Someone says, "Waffle on one!"
Characters - The drink machine spills a green drink.

The entire page is a reference to Waffle House, a chain of restaurants that's very prevalent in the southern U.S. and almost completely non-existent in the northern US, perhaps most famous for its own complex lingo referring to hash browns prepared with various ingredients. (However, Denny's restaurants have been known to respond to Waffle House hash browns terminology, some even writing it into their menus.)
"Scattered, smothered, and covered" refers to hash browns spread out flat as you would expect ("scattered"; as opposed to shaped into a thicker ring, which nobody normally prefers), with onions ("smothered") and cheese ("covered"). The sandwich pictured is actually a patty melt plate, rather than a quarter cheese plate.
