Fun Facts

The entire page is a reference to Waffle House, a chain of restaurants located primarily in the southern United States. The chain is perhaps best known for its own complex lingo referring to hash browns prepared with various ingredients.
"Scattered, smothered, and covered" refers to hash browns spread out flat as you would expect ("scattered"; as opposed to shaped into a thicker ring, which nobody normally prefers), with onions ("smothered") and cheese ("covered"). The sandwich pictured is actually a patty melt plate, rather than a quarter cheese plate.
