{A droning, ominous-sounding chord plays over a black screen as a pixelated white caption fades in:}
CAPTION: It's time...
{Fade to a grainy, black and white shot. A portable record player case is taken off a shelf. The case is covered in dust and has the 1996 Macromedia Flash logo on it.}
{Fade to a hand dusting off the case. Fade to black again.}
CAPTION: to dust off your Uncle's Flash Player
{Fade back in as the case is opened. Fade to a record being taken off a shelf. The record has the following text on it:}

CAPTION: In November of 2002...
{Fade to a scene from the Strong Bad Email island. The scene is dimmed, and the caption appears below the Flash window.}
CAPTION: an internet cartoon man said the following words:
STRONG BAD: {faintly} You know... 'cause I'm gonna hit you...and you'll need the ice cream to... stop the swelling.
{The scene brightens as it cuts to Homestar.}
HOMESTAR RUNNER: {at normal volume} Hey, Stinkoman.
STRONG BAD: {at normal volume} Um... did you just call me Stinkoman?
{Cut to a scene from the Strong Bad Email japanese cartoon. Strong Bad is shown turning into Stinkoman, sped up from the original email.}
CAPTION: A few weeks later, in early 2003, this happened.
STRONG BAD: {voiceover} For some reason, I got blue hair. You gotta have blue hair.
{Cut to a later scene. 1-Up walks up to Stinkoman.}
1-UP: Hey, Stinkoman. Everybody says you're the guy, but I wanna be the guy too!
{Cut to black.}
CAPTION: Two years later, Videlectrix made a Stinkoman platformer.

{Cut to another area in Level 10.1, with Stinkoman jumping a off collapsing floor and respawning.}
CAPTION: Edge-fall respawn (dunno what else to call it)
{Cut to black, then fade in to the pre-10.4 cutscene. Softer music plays as a metallic door opens, and Mecha-Trogador slams his foot down as the music reaches its peak.}
{Cut to black. The first caption starts large and shrinks, the second appears later and remains the same size.}
