For this week, how about trying again to do Teen Girl Squad Issue 13? MHarrington 14:44, 4 August 2009 (UTC)
- Grood idea. We haven't done anything TGS-related ever since...The Ugly One? Yes, we need to do this. free TURKEY TIME!!!!!! 12:49, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
- Actually, let's have The Stick for this week, and then bump TGS13 up to week 39. That'll better space out the types of articles featured. wbwolf (t | ed) 15:24, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
- Sounds good to me. MHarrington 17:28, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

[edit] HRWiki:Featured article for 2009, week 42 (Oct 12-18)
I know I'd probably the last person to propose such a thing, but how about a week of DVD exclusive toons. Real Live E-Mail and Tis True, Pom Pom, Tis True are the only ones of that category that have been featured, and as a class should have a little more attention to them. How about: Greeting Cards, Puppets On The Road, Sample Of Style, Blue Laserdisc Challenge, Accent, Where's The Cheat? (game) and Dangeresque: THREE in 3D. wbwolf (t | ed) 01:33, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
- I know for a fact that we need to to do SOMETHING dailies-related eventually. I never thought of this, though. I guess I'm game. MHarrington 15:44, 7 August 2009 (UTC)
- Can we put 160 Seconds in there? It sounds cool. free TURKEY TIME!!!!!! 23:26, 9 August 2009 (UTC)
[edit] HRWiki:Featured article for 2009, week 42, day 1
Now that it has been tentatively agreed to do weeklies, how about figuring out their order. I propose that we start off with Greeting Cards, the first DVD exclusive Strong Bad Email wbwolf (t | ed) 20:29, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
- Reconfirming order: Day 1 Greeting Cards wbwolf (t | ed)
[edit] HRWiki:Featured article for 2009, week 42, day 2
Next would be Puppets On The Road wbwolf (t | ed) 20:29, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, we NEED to do something puppet-related. free TURKEY TIME!!!!!! 20:09, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
- Reconfirming order: Day 2 Sample Of Style wbwolf (t | ed)
[edit] HRWiki:Featured article for 2009, week 42, day 3
Sample Of Style A lot of fun with Matt & Mike just goofing around. wbwolf (t | ed) 20:29, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
- Except Puppets On The Road (which is on SBEmail Disc 4) came after Sample of Style (Disc 3), which is on day two, so why don't we switch days with that one here? MHarrington 17:49, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
[edit] HRWiki:Featured article for 2009, week 42, day 4
I'm not real happy about Blue Laserdisc Challenge here. I'm not sure if The Limozeen Advantage or Why Come Only One Girl? should be featured due to various issues. Any ideas? wbwolf (t | ed) 20:29, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
- I'd like to see "Why Come...". MHarrington 06:17, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
- I'm not amenable to us drawing any more attention to that article until such a time (if any) that it's unprotected. Heimstern Läufer
19:47, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
- I think Blue Laserdisc Challenge could be made to work; we just need to be a bit creative in our writeup. Heimstern Läufer
19:53, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
- The Limozeen Advantage needs some major cleaning up. Laserdisc is fine with me, though. free TURKEY TIME!!!!!! 20:09, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
- If we can get Limozeen Advantage cleaned up, we could boot Laserdisc down to the 6 slot. It looks mainly like locations needs to be documented for the article. wbwolf (t | ed) 23:53, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
- I think we should do Blue Laserdisc. MHarrington 14:49, 28 September 2009 (UTC)

Accent for another DVD SBEmail. wbwolf (t | ed) 20:29, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
[edit] HRWiki:Featured article for 2009, week 42, day 6
Where's The Cheat? (game) is probably the weakest. 160 Seconds is interesting, but it's kinda on the short side. I'm trying to stick with longer entries. Thoughts? wbwolf (t | ed) 20:29, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
- How about The Limozeen Advantage? We already have something representing SBEmails Disc 5 (on day 5, seen above). MHarrington 17:53, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
- Limozeen Advantage is a fine suggestion. Would it better here or swapped for Blue Laserdisc Challenge on day 4? wbwolf (t | ed) 17:59, 14 August 2009 (UTC)
- It's better here because it's chronologically correct. MHarrington 18:17, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

[edit] HRWiki:Featured article for 2009, week 42, day 0
Finally, round out the week with Dangeresque: THREE in 3D. I know it was only recently released, but a) I'd like to have at least one example from each of the discs (SBEmail 1-3 count as one release) and b) it's probably one of the longest H*R toons overall. wbwolf (t | ed) 20:29, 12 August 2009 (UTC)
- And after all, why not sometimes feature stuff that's very new? Shows how on top of the game we are. Heimstern Läufer
19:51, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
- Sure, we can do that as part of DVD week- but we might want to think about featuring the DVD before doing its exclusives... or maybe doing Dangeresque 3: The Criminal Projective before its spin-offs... but if D3 in 3D is that important to y'alls, I have no problem with featuring it as part of a theme. - ghosts sounds good. Nice 'n funny, Bad Graphics Ghost, yeah, it'll work.
- Bad graphics ghost is good... I like it...
- I'm be fine with ghosts; let's save halloweener for now. But, if we don't have the HRWiki Halloween theme up and running for that week, I'd like to nominate Pistols for Pandas (PfP, I'll just say) in reference to our struggling fund-raising drive (and the clever excerpt from it on HRWiki:DO YOU HAS?). While I don't like it when new toons and such are featured too early (like, "within two years" early), I wouldn't mind it in this case. I would have recommended PfP for week 42 but I didn't have the time. —Soiled Bargains (talk|ctrb) 02:43, 12 October 2009 (UTC)

Ween. We usually feature a full-length Halloween toon this week. We've already featured Pumpkin Carve-nival, Homestarloween Party and Halloween Potion-ma-jig, so let's think of a different one. Heimstern Läufer
20:03, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
- How about The House That Gave Sucky Treats, my personal favorite. Though I'm not sure how much that matters when choosing FAs... free TURKEY TIME!!!!!! 20:09, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
- There are definitely some reasons this toon is noteworthy; for example, it was the first interactive Halloween toon, and it established the trend of Homsar as a secret character in H'ween toons. Also was the last one to feature voting on costumes, and had a sort of addendum released five years later. All told, I think this'd make a good FA. Heimstern Läufer
20:32, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
- Sorry if it seems like I'm being hasty and dismissing your ideas (don't get me wrong, Sucky Treats looks like a good one), but what about Jibblies 2? That's a good one, too. A lot of people really like that one. The plot is intense, the characters are off the wall here and it's great. "Sucky Treats", however, doesn't really have much to write up on, short of just the characters coming to the house in question and maybe Homsar being introduced in the Halloween toons here. MHarrington 22:36, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
- That's also a good one. Either one could make a fine FA, though Sucky Treats is more historic, and I don't agree that there'd be a problem with writing it up. So, let's hear from others about what we should feature. Heimstern Läufer
23:20, 13 August 2009 (UTC)
- I'm kinda leaning towards Sucky Treats, myself. A very pivotal and important toon for many reasons. wbwolf (t | ed) 00:01, 14 August 2009 (UTC)

- Oh, well in that case, Sucky Treats is the (don't quote me on this) first interactive Halloween cartoon, and the one of the ones where you can vote, plus the first appearance of the coolest character in the Homestar Runner Universe in a Halloween Cartoon, HOMSAR!!!!!!!!!!!
- Actually, Homsar first appeared in the homsar email. Sorry, just making a little observation there. MHarrington 14:40, 15 August 2009 (UTC)

For this week, we should do something we have not done in a long time: a game. I'm thinking maybe Kid Speedy. MHarrington 21:57, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
- Already been featured. Though I would like to see a game get featured. Maybe Dangeresque Roomisode 1: Behind the Dangerdesque. free TURKEY TIME!!!!!! 22:54, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
- If you want to do an older game, Awexome Cross would be fine candidate. I think I prefer that to Dangerdesque. wbwolf (t | ed) 23:44, 24 August 2009 (UTC)
- Dangerdesque is a bit too recent to be featured IMO. Awexome Cross, Pop:Tire, or Duck Guardian One would be excellent candidates for a game feature. --

- I disagree with Dangeresque being too new. By the time November comes around, it should be about a year old and Videlectrix will have made another Roomisode. But I see why you guys want to feature "older" games. I'd like to see Pop:Tire or Awexome. free TURKEY TIME!!!!!! 11:18, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

For this week, we should do another Teen Girl Squad character, one who is a staple of the series: Arrow'd Guy! MHarrington 17:24, 28 August 2009 (UTC)
- I was thinking about doing the Monosodium Dreams, assuming we haven't already done it.

15:23, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
- We have not shown Monosodium Dreams or The Movie Theater yet, so why don't we do them in the near future? We could do one next week and then the next one two weeks later, since the week before that is Thanksgiving and I have an idea in mind for that one already. MHarrington 16:02, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
- Just a comment: remember we are trying to keep FAS to only 10 weeks ahead. We've been creeping up lately (and I've been guilty of same). wbwolf (t | ed) 19:36, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
- Wbwolf's right. We'll go ahead and leave it for now, but let's keep it down to 10 weeks in advance of the current week in the future. Another thing: don't forget that in a discussion, if you propose a new idea after someone else's, you should always respond to the previous one (perhaps giving a reason you think your choice is more suitable). Otherwise, it's not really a discussion, and it's hard to determine where consensus really lies. (Don't forget that this isn't a vote, contrary to what it may seem sometimes.)
- As for my opinion: I do think Arrow'd Guy really deserves a turn in the spotlight, particularly because it's been a while since we've had a TGS-related feature. The other two ideas suggested also look deserving, so I suggest we keep them in mind for the near future. Heimstern Läufer
09:19, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
- But wait, wouldn't we have just done TGS 13 for week 39?

- Yes, but that doesn't mean that something like this can't be done for a long time if that's what we go with then. MHarrington 14:47, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
- Well we did do TGS 13, But Arrow'd Guy works for me. Monosodium, your time to shine comes soon.

- No, he has not been delayed since we featured What's Her Face, as there was only one editor campaigning to feature Arrow'd Guy then. The fact that that editor didn't get what he wanted does not mean that article has been delayed. It's coming exactly on time: When consensus favours it. I.e., this week. Heimstern Läufer
13:37, 5 September 2009 (UTC)
- What I meant is that, after the time of featuring what's-her-face, the idea of featuring him had been tossed around, but ultimately it was decided he was suited for a later period of time (after featuring The Ugly One, a few weeks after a few issues had been featured, etc.). Perhaps he wasn't delayed for almost a year so much as been taken under consideration for a year, if you want it in politically correct terms, but the point is that there really isn't much sense in putting off a deserving article any longer than it already has. I'm sorry if I came off as sour, Heimstern, but I feel that this article is in dire need of featuring and shouldn't be denied it merely because another TGS-related article had been featured over two months previously. That Game Dude 386
18:44, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
- So far, no one seems to have seriously objected to featuring it this week, despite the relatively short gap between this and the last TGS, so I think we're fine. I'm certainly not going to, since I think TGS is one of the most awesomest things on the site and always like to see more articles about it get featured. Heimstern Läufer
