I just realized seriously is also written as sewiously sometimes in the transcripts too. So, don't forget to search those too... Ed lim smildE / talk

- Nah, I don't think we need to, since they're divided up. It's like all the subdivisions in the Crap article. (Doesn't it sound funny to say that? Like, "this article is crap", but it's actually a good article. It's a play on words, or something.) They're not all Strongo Baddo's catchphrase. --DorianGray

Regarding this edit which stemmed from this edit and the one in the middle. The reason that the thumbnail caption was removed was because the image itself already contains a caption. Adding another caption in this case is rather redundant can take away from the fun of the actual image. It would be very hard, in my opinion, to find a very good caption and the current one I don't think is one. However, I did leave the "thumb" frame because I think it looks more wiki-like. Nevertheless, in order to avoid any kind of edit war, I have started this discussion here. --Stux 17:13, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- After looking at the page history I noticed that the caption was removed for the same reason as I mentioned above. And after looking at the most recent "captionless"" version, I do believe that the borderless version looks better than the bordered "captionless" version. --Stux 17:21, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
- Seriously. I think we should just get a caption instead. The wiki-ness of the article would be hurt otherwise. What about one of the quotes from the page? A zinger like "Seriously, Pom Pom, I'm about to pee my pants." or "Sewiously, Marzipan, how do you get so smart?" or "I am still awesome. Seriously." would do the trick. There's my two cents. - I agree with Stux that a caption is unnecessary (worse, actually). I say remove the caption. I'm neutral about whether or not we keep the thumb box.

- Actually, rollover text isn't such a bad idea, and it leaves kind of a surprise for the curious reader. In fact, I just realized that's exactly what the previous version did (roll over the image and you'll see!) --Stux 18:45, 25 November 2007 (UTC)

- I think it should say "Homestar: Seriously", you know, to convey the fact that Homestar is in the picture. So I'll make that change. What I wonder is if we can use the other quote in the caption tag, as that is what you are supposed to use to create rollover text. That way, people with text browsers or screen readers get to know what the picture is actually of, but us rollover fanatics will get the admittedly "good quote" for their effort.

titleattribute controls the little tooltip you see when you hover your mouse over an image. Thealtattribute is what's displayed when the image is missing or if a browser doesn't display images. [edit] Seriously having serious trouble looking for "seriously"
I saw the Seriously page and thought there were some missing but when I went to search the wiki to confirm, it turned up nothing when I clicked search. I tried it with other words that were also page names but they seemed to work fine. What in Pete Sampras is going on here? Guybrush20X6 18:10, 5 September 2017 (UTC)
- It appears that "seriously" is a stopword (a common word for which searching is not possible). Check out the list at the bottom of this page. — It's dot com 18:30, 5 September 2017 (UTC)
